My head was pounding as I woke up this morning. What the hell did I do last night? I vaguely remember taking advantage of the fact that my parents were gone and raiding Dad's liqour cabinet. Yeah, maybe that wasn't the best thing to do on a school night. Fuck! I was gonna be late for school! Not that I really cared, I just didn't want Mom to be upset with me. That happened enough already.
I quickly did my thing in the bathroom, got dressed, putting on the first thing I saw, and rushed off to school on my motorcycle.
My phone beeped as I made my way across the parking lot, signaling that I got a text. I rolled my eyes as I saw that it was Caroline. Shit, that girl couldn't take a hint. A few days after I moved into town, I made the mistake of hooking up with her at a party. I thought I made myself perfectly clear when I told her that I was in no way interested in being her boyfriend, but obviously she couldn't see past her ego to realize that.
Suddenly, I felt myself collide with a small body. Not bothering to ask if they were okay or even check who it was, I kept on walking. The fucker should've watched where they were going.
"Dick!" I heard behind me. Laughing to myself, I looked over my shoulder, flipping them the bird. I almost stopped walking when I saw her. I couldn't really see her face but I could tell that she was cute. She had long brown hair and she looked pissed. I almost felt bad. I honestly thought that it was some loser that I knocked down. That girl was definitely not a loser.

When I walked into the cafeteria, it felt as if the Red Sea had parted. People avoided me like the plague. It was laughable, really. These people were such wimps. As I debated whether or not to brave the garbage this school tried to pass off as food, I heard raucous laughter coming from one of the tables nearby.
Sitting at the table was the girl I knocked over this morning. Her head was ducked and she looked embarassed. She was sitting with a girl that I recognized from my Spanish class, Danielle I think her name was, and some blonde kid. Was that her boyfriend? I felt jealousy bubbling inside of me as I thought of this. I had to talk to her.
Just as I was about to approach her, Caroline wrapped her arms around my neck, kissing me.
"Hey, baby. Why didn't you answer my texts?" she said, when she finally let me breathe.
I shuddered as I unwrapped her arms and took a step back. "What the fuck, Caroline?" I said, pissed off that she made out with me in front of all these people. I looked over to see if the girl was still there but she was gone.
When the bell rang, signaling the start of fourth period, I made my into the school's library. I had a free period so I planned on just listening to music until my next class.
I was surprised to find the girl from this morning sitting at a table alone, doing what appeared to be homework. As I made my way over to her I realized that I didn't even know her name. Quickly, I grabbed some dork by the collar of his shirt and asked him.
"A-A-Alice, I think." he stuttered, looking terrified. Alice. That was a pretty name. I pushed him away and made my way over to her.
As we were talking, I couldn't stop thinking of how pretty she was. Her eyes were a really pretty, light brown color and her lips were pink and full. I had to have her.
When she told me that she saw me "glaring" at her in the cafeteria, I didn't tell her that it was the blonde kid I was glaring at, wanting to stay on her good side. That didn't work out too well when I told her that I caught her checking me out and she shoved me. Whoops. After she practically ran out on me, I decided that I was going to have to try harder if I wanted Alice to like me. I don't know what it was but there was just something about her that drew me in.
When I saw Danielle I took the oppurtunity to ask for Alice's number. She was talking to Liam Payne. He was supposedly the star athlete of the school and all the girls practically dropped their panties at just the sound of his name. Before I came along of course.
"Danielle," I said interrupting them. Liam looked at me annoyed. Too bad.
"Uh, yeah?" she said.
" I need Alice's number."
"Why?" she answered, looking confused.
"She forgot something in the library and I wanna give it back to her," I lied.
"Oh, uh, yeah sure." After she gave me the number I thanked her and walked away.
That night when I called Alice, she sounded surprised but not mad so that was a good sign. When I picked her up the next morning, she looked really good. She looked a little skeptical about getting on my motorcycle, but still got on. When we were racing down the road she was squeesing me tight, not that I was complaining. She could squeeze me all she liked.
There was a comfortable silence between us as Alice got off the bike and fixed herself up. Just as I was about to offer to walk Alice to her locker, I heard a shrill voice call out.
"What the hell is this?" Caroline yelled. "Oh, so now you're trying to steal my boyfriend, bitch?"
That's it. I wasn't going to let this bitch talk to Alice that way. I took a step towards her.
"What the fuck did you just call her?"
