This chapter is dedicated to Kalissboden for helping me figure out what to write. Thanks!

I woke up early, before dawn. I kept thinking about the voice I heard last night. Who was it? Was it a witch? Was it my imagination? My mind was racing a thousand miles an hour with all of these questions.
You up? I asked William mentally.
Now I am. Whats wrong? He replied moments later.
Wanna leave? Before everyone wakes up. I said.
Sure. Give me a few minutes and meet me by the front gate. He said.
Ok. I replied and began packing.
I tried to be as quiet as I can, luckily, the loudest thing was opening the door, and it was just a little click.

I was at the main gate, and William wasn't there.
Hurry up. I mentally told him.
A few moments later he came out of his building and met me.
"Let's go." I said quietly.
He nodded. We left and headed off so we could be out of town by dawn.

About an hour it was dawn. Luckily, we were far enough from town that nobody could find us. All i could think of was what my friends would think if they suddenly saw us gone? What would they do? My mind couldn't get a break.
After walking for awhile, we came across a hill a d climbed to the top.
"Look." I pointed to the town we came from. "That's where we came from." And I looked around to find another place we could stay. I found a patch of thick woods.
"Wanna go there?" I asked and pointed to the woods.
"Sure." He replied.

We continued walking for awhile, and we started to get tired. So we took a break. We ate some bread and decided to lay down for a little while.

I woke up to hearing someone faintly crying.
"William" I whispered and shook him to wake him up.
"You hear that?" I asked, him just barely opening his eyes.
"No. 5 more minutes." He rolled over.
I got a smirk on my face, and with the snap of my fingers, a small bubble of water the size of his head appeared above his. And it dropped.
"I'm up!" He shot up. And the crying stopped.
"See, nothing." He said, quite irritated with the way I woke him up.
Show me who was crying. And I instantly got an image of a beautiful fairy with blue short hair, purple eyes and pretty green lips. She was wearing a small purple dress to match her eyes and a green flower in her hair. Her wings were the same shade of green as her flower and lips.
Show me how to get to her. And I got a mental map.
"William, follow me." I said sternly, and he simply nodded.
We reached her within minutes.
"Please don't hurt me!" She said nervously.
"We're not going to hurt you. Whats wrong?" I asked with sympathy.
"Nothing." She said, wiping away her tears.
I looked at her directly in the eyes.
"I don't believe you. Please tell me, I just want to help." I said.
"Well, I'm always picked on by the other fairies. My magic isn't as powerful. My magic only affects plants, while other fairies in my class can do all sorts of things." She said, with tears beginning to stream down her face again.
"Well, everyone is different. Maybe your destiny is to be a powerful garden fairy. You never know." I said, trying to console her.
"Yeah right." She said sarcastically.
"Well, whats your name anyways?" I asked.
"My name is Lilas, what is yours?" She replied as I wiped her tears away.
"Mine is Steph. Nice to meet you. And this is my cousin Will." And I gestured to William.
He bowed, and Lilas giggled.
"Are you going to be ok?" I asked.
"Yeah, I'm used to it. Where are you guys headed to anyways?" She asked.
"I don't know, we were headed to a thick patch of woods."
"Oh, I live there. Would you like to come?" She asked with enthusiasm.
William and I nodded.
"Yay! Let's go!" She was so happy her wings began to flap and she did several flips in the air.
"Come on." She gestured for us to follow.

It wasn't a long walk, and the whole time I couldn't take my eyes off Lilas, she was beautiful. I couldn't tell if it wasnt far, or if I was day dreaming and I didn't realise it. It was a cute village, fluttering with life of fairies.
The houses were the trees. With small doors and windows. This place was beautiful, but we began to get stared at. We continued through the village, getting more and more looks. It didn't take long until i realised that we were the only humans.
"Are we allowed to be here?" I whispered to Lilas as we walked.
"Honestly no." She whispered back.
My body got tense.
We eventually got to Lilas house. When she opened the door,a much younger fairy flew to the door.
"Hey Flamme. Whats up?" She asked and held her.
"I learned how to do somefing today!" Flamme was so excited.
"What is it?" Lilas asked.
"Fire magic!" She yelled.
"Oh no." Lilas said and face palmed.
"Yeah! Look!" Flamme said and a small flame appeared slitghtly above her hand.
"Be careful, that's dangerous. Ok?" Lilas said.
"Ok" Flamme said and ran off up the stairs.
"That's my sister, as you could probably tell." She said and she walked off, and we followed her.
"Sit down, you guys must be hungry. Want something to eat?" She asked.
"No thanks." We replied.
"Are you sure?" She asked again.
"Yes were sure, but thank you." We said again.

We stayed for the rest of the day, until it became dark out. We played games for the rest of the day and watches Flamme play with her new trick.
"Oh, it's awfully late. Would you like to stay the night?" Lilas asked.
"If it's no trouble, please." I replied.
"Oh, its no trouble. Here." She handed us a couple of blankets and two pillows.
"The couch and chair ate quiet comfy." She said.
"Thank you." I replied and began to get comfy on the couch, while William took the chair.
I'm gonna put Flamme to bed and hit the hay myself. Good night." She said and picked up Flamme, who fell asleep.
I layed down on the couch, all snuggled. A few minutes after everyone got into their beds, they all fell asleep.
Show me Flare and Abby. I said mentally. I saw them and a bunch of people out looking for us.
Flare, don't worry. We're fine. Don't look for us. It'll be ok. I said to her through a mental message.
Ok. She said glumly.
I'm glad I know they're all ok. And I slowly drifted off to a sleep.

I am very sorry about the late update. I have a lot of free time so I will be updating more, but probably late at night (like right now). Well, what do you think of Lilas? Any suggestions, let me know. Goodnight! 🌙
