A long thread is bound between the pinkies that we own
Having it stay where it should, let's tighten it good

Summer festivals and Candy apples and...
That one time, the rainbow just embraced the gray sky

All my feelings broke in two

We just moved to a new house. I also attended a new school. It was very new for me and also I felt like I didn't belong. I'm not that kind of boy who likes to mingle and play with other. I just sit there, be quiet and sometimes even imagine crazy things

I didn't like it here. But it's not like I wanted to go back our old home. I don't have friends there. I also get bullied a lot.

On the 10th day in the new house I decided to sit down on our swing in the front porch. It was a quiet neighborhood perfect for me, I guess.

"Hey" someone called. I glanced from left to right, I didn't see anyone. Must be my imagination

"Hey!!" then again someone called. It was a girl's voice. It was surely not my imagination. I finally saw who was calling me. She was standing behind our fence. Must be our neighbor. She had long, teal hair tied up into pigtails. She wore a school uniform and is actually MY school's uniform.

I walked towards her. She looked nice and kind.

"You're the new kid in school right?" she asked

We're classmates!?!?

"Yes." was my soft response. She smiled, held out her hand and said "Nice to meet you, I'm Miku. What's you're name?"

"A-allen.." then again another soft response as I shook her hand

"Haha, your so shy. Nee, you want to play? I have a secret place we could go to!"

A secret place? she better not be talking about the forest.

"Uhmm, I don't know...." I said

"Cmon it'll be fun!!" she said

I was thinking it through. But suddenly she took hold of my hand and pulled me towards her  "secret place". Just as I thought.... she was talking about the forest.

As we walk into the dense forest I felt her squeeze my hand more. Could it be.... is she. Scared?

we go deeper and deeper until suddenly the light of the sun blinded my eyes and I feel Miku letting go of my hand. I block the light with my hand to see such a beautiful meadow. But our walk wasn't over yet.

Miku didn' stop walking. I ran to catch up with her. After a few more steps she pointed to something and said

"There." I looked at where she was pointing. I saw an old shed. Is that what she was pointing at?

"That shed is abandoned now. We could make a secret base or something with it!"

"Sugoii..." I said

we went inside the shed for a closer look. Miku pointed from here to there while saying her plans for the place

"Here we could put our toys. Then here we could play games. Then here we could our drawing. Then here picture! The over here we could hang some airplanes and stuff. Then here we could put lamps. Wouldn't this be great? Allen."
