Synchronicity

In a village, a mother admired her children. Twins. One was a boy and one was a girl namely, Len and Rin. The mother was very happy with her children. They laid on the bed sleeping then suddenly there was a knock on the door

The mother stood up and opened it. She was surprised to see palace guards

"Your daughter has been chosen to be the next Diva. Please accept her faith and let us take her" said a guard

"No! She can't be! You will not take my child!" Yelled the mother. She immediately pushed the door but the guards blocked it and forcefully entered.

2 guards had the mother immobilized, they held her arms as she swung them violently to escape their grip. But she couldn't. The babies were startled and started to cry as another guard slowly lifts Rin from the bed

"The child is acquired. Our business is done" said the guard as he steps out the door. The other guards followed him and slammed the door shut

Unable to do anything to get her daughter back, the mother banged the door twice while crying loudly. She then approached Len, carried him and hugged him tightly.

A few years passed Len grew up as a smart child. He attended school and was the top of his class

Ofcourse, his mother told him about his twin sister. 

"Mother, what does Rin look like? Why isn't she here?" asked Len

"Perhaps she would be as smart as you, beautiful and graceful. She's a Diva now, my dear." The mother said. Tears ran down her cheeks while she hides her from behind her soft smile.

"Don't worry mother" said Len "I promise I'll find her"

The mother put her hands on Len's shoulders and said, "Silly boy.... You don't even know what she looks like"

"We're twins right? She would look like me" Len said, smiling

"You're right. You really are a smart boy" said The mother and hugged him

more years passed Len was determined to find his sister. He learned swordsmanship and learned more about the so called "Diva".

He learned that a Diva must sing prayers to the dragon to bless their land. She must please the dragon, if not the dragon itself would end her life. Most Divas die for singing and dancing too much, fatigue and depression

Len prayed everytime for his sister to be safe.

He practiced how to fight and gained more knowledge. He even achieved the title of Swordmaster

more years passed, Len was ready to start his quest. Sadly hid mother passed away, but he would still continue.

On the first day of his journey he dreamed about Rin. Singing and dancing. Praying in front of the dragon. This gave him courage and hope.

He then visited the neighboring town

Rin's POV

I've been in this den for as long as I can remember. Even if I want to escape, I can't. This is my faith. My destiny. The faith of the whole kingdom depends on me. If I do not pray, if I do not sing, if I do not please the dragon, it will not bless the whole kingdom. It may even destroy it.

I must be careful. I must do this for everyone

Len's POV

First I must know where the dragon's den is located. But I have no idea where it is nor where I could find the information. 

Some say that someone in the castle knows its location. Rumour was this person also picks the next Diva. I'm not quite sure how to get close to this person but I must get there.
