Kaito's POV

Anyone I passed by, will receive a smile in return. Check~

Finding Kudo's son. Check~

Leading my new friend(rival), back to his house. On going~

Somehow, find a quick way to impress the other.... Need some work on that and FAST!

Seems like my new friend(rival) tends to keep figuring out my tricks like he already knew what's going to happen! No one but him, can ever solve my tricks since the day I dedicated myself to becoming a magician. Now that's a detective for you! I knew from the moment he introduces himself, very proud of having a dream like that. Mayb-No, He will become a successful detective out there, no questions asked! 

Hiding my chuckle, behind my poker-face. Oh, how the world will become, if there's more of him out there! I'll take that as a challenge!

Shinichi's POV

This Kaito guy.... he's not that bad of a magician as I thought he would be. He's pretty good, to say the least. As long as he doesn't make his tricks that obvious, and maybe improve more on his poker face. However, the face he makes whenever I solve any of his tricks, it was priceless! His usual cocky expression morphed into one of a kicked puppy. It nearly made me want to pat him. But it would only last for a few seconds, soon afterward his facial expression turned back into a playful smirk. He sure recovers quickly...thinking back to our first meeting, I always thought he was not that impressive. But now... Him being a world famous magician? Ha! Yeah, I guess he could be one...

Though, why does it feel like our walk was far shorter than just my usual walk? Well, they do say that 'Time goes faster when you're having fun-' I widen my eyes and couldn't believe what I just said.

'NoNoNoNoNoNoNoNoNoNoNoNoNo–this can't be happening... me? Kudo Shinichi? Having fun? That doesn't match up....Ok, well maybe not fun but amused? Entertained?? yeah, that's the reason!' I nodded along with my thoughts. A hand on my shoulder snapped me back to reality. My sapphire orbs flickered up to meet his unusual violet ones, an awkward silence occurred between us.

Kaito POV

"S-Shin-chan?" I stuttered, noticing how the other, had gained up on me for some reason. 'Have I annoyed him at some point?' Nevertheless, those clear blue eyes.... I could just stare at them all day. It's an addiction. I just couldn't look away. Like a jewel that's very hard to obtain, stunning, like the owner itself. Though, the spell had broken when the other realise what he had done. 

"E-Eh?! I-I'm sorry " Shin-chan snapped back to reality, as well as jumped by how close we had been. With both of his arms strongly holding on to his book. Giving a slight glance to the side, along with a flush of pink beginning to appear on his cheek. I could feel the heat creeping on my own, of how adorable this rare creature could be. Isn't that a crime for being this cute?? 'Poker-face Kaito. Keep on a Poker-face!' Inhaling as much air as I could in one go, I revert back within seconds.

"No, it's fine! Actually, we're here already~" Changing the subject, we have arrived at the Kudos' mansion. When I first saw this view I couldn't help but gawk all over about how huge this house is. Is this even considered a house?! Laughable, I'm doing that even now. It's not long before the door slammed to reveal a woman with hazel hair. 

"Mou~ Shin-chan please come home earlier for once!" She stated, puffing up her cheeks towards her only son.  

"Is there a problem for me to stay indoors?" Shin-chan opposed, with a little sarcasm hidden behind his tone.
