Dear Death,

How long are you going to keep us under this torture? Is there a way out of it? Please tell me!

Love,

Yuno Vareach

Yuno stared at the blood. Kane was trying desperately to staunch the blood. Yuno's vision was fading fast.

"Please hold on Miss Yuno." he said desperately. She knew she couldn't. She looked at Mitsuka. The child had pulled Yuno's head into her lap and was now stroking her hair. Her grey dress was stained with blood and brains, and her hair had grown so long that it fell in her face in a beautiful black tangle. They were inside a library, which had been their home for the past three weeks. Yuno felt a tear slide down her cheeks. It had been a year since their nightmare started. All three of them had grown so much. Kane was crying too. He had become a valuable asset in this time. His knowledge of medicine was the only reason they were alive. He could heal any wound. Except this one.

Yuno had been outside the library, looking for a vehicle close by. They had recently decided that they needed to be mobile, and decided to find a bus or a van. She had gone outside to search, only to be attacked by a horde of zombies. One of them had torn a gash out of her side with it's hand. They had already realised that she wasn't going to turn into a zombie, but, she thought to herself, they didn't need to. She was dying anyway. She felt more tears slide down her cheeks. She just hoped that Mitsuka and Kane wouldn't join her anytime soon, but nor would they become zombies. She wanted the second one more she knew.

"At least I will be with my Lord Death." she murmured. Her eyes closed. The last thing she heard was Kane begging her to come back.
