"Hey" Ashton whispered quietly as the two walked in the room
Michael looked unsure and sat down in one of the far chairs
Ashton continued his quiet conversation with Calum
Michael took in every minute facial expression he made- how he wrinkled his nose when he laughed, the way his eyes twinkled
Michael was snapped out of his thoughts when Ashton patted Calum's shoulder "well we'll leave you two to talk alright?"
Luke and Ashton walked out of the room shutting the door

"Oh shit- sorry- I forgot" Michael grumbled looking sad
"So apparently, from what Ashton tells me, we're dating? Is that correct?"
"Yes" Michael said- this made him smile
There was a long pause as Calum thought this over
"...Are- are we a good couple?"
"We're wonderful" Michael's face lit up "the fans love us. Arguments are rare and we live together"
"How long has it been?"
"You really don't remember anything do you?" Michael said with a sad smile
"No sorry" Calum shook his head
"5 years"
Calum sucked in a big breath "damn"
"Yep, 6 years in November"
"But I'm not even gay" Calum said confused
Michael chuckled dryly "that's what you said when we started dating, but look where we are now.... Want to see a picture?"
Calum nodded his head slowly
Michael pulled out his phone and pulled up a picture of their house
"We have a house together?!!" He widened his eyes in suprise
"Yea, and a dog"
"You mean Pizza?" He asked
"You remember her?"
"Yes of course- how could I forget her?!"
That earned a sad shake of the head from Michael
Calum looked downcast "sorry..."
Michael pretended not to notice saying "do you want to see a picture of us?"
"Yes please"
He pulled up a picture a fan took from after a concert
He and Calum are kissing behind the tour bus
Calum had his hands on the back of Michael's neck, pulling the taller boys head down to his
Their eyes were closed, like they were the only people in the world
"This was all over Twitter" he laughed "a fan took it- that's when we came out to them"
"Damn that's old" Calum said shaking his head in awe
"Yep- it was right after a concert, behind the tour bus"
"Well it looks like a ligit photo....." Calum sighed "I'm sorry I can't remember, honestly I'm so sorry. We look really happy in those photos"
Tears a starting to well up in Michael's eyes "y- y- yea we were- we are really happy" he hiccuped
"I told you not to go out last night- I fucking told you" Michael was now rambling- mostly to himself "I knew something would happen- I waited up for you"
Calum reached out grabbing Michael's hand "even though I can't remember- thank you for waiting" he smiled a small smile
