Cheyenne walked into the school, wanting to rush to her class. It was just an average day in March. As always Cheyenne was avoiding getting beaten up by not one person; the whole school. This was something that Cheyenne has been dealing with ever since she moved out of her old house back when she was 8 years old.
Cheyenne lives in a suburban area in a single family home with a bigger brother, who will soon leave for college for the second time. She's mostly alone, due to her brother always being with his girlfriend, her mom is mostly working at Verizon and her dad working as a pharmacist from 7:30 am till it closes at 10:00.
Cheyenne dress mostly with button-up shirts and pants, and sometimes converses that she never cleans, some days she wants to go to school she dresses with a long sweater and boot cut jeans covering up her high-top purple converses. Cheyenne doesn't care about what she wears, but the school does.
Her school teases her for the way she dress, her three freak friends, Isaiah, Cassie, Gretchen. Adding to her nerdy mind she was a target of picking. She was also shy and unable to talk with eye contact, no matter who she was talking to. She also wears braces, which explains why she doesn't smile very often, or at all.
Cheyenne hates her braces, her school and her nerdy mind. She hates herself adding to everything else. She just hates looking in the mirror and seeing a girl with purple braces, eyeglasses, and a weird haircolor (she thought it was a bad hair color).
Rushing to Cheyennes first class was something that was always on her schedule. She always paces out of attention to avoid shoving, mocks, insults, mean nicknames and stuff shoved in her face or shoved out her hands."Ms. Simmons! Early I see!" It was Mrs. Cooper. She was jotting down notes on the white board.
"Algebra?" Cheyenne grew excited inside, not even showing an inch of emotion.
"Absolutely Cheyenne." Mrs. Cooper caps the marker and sits in her seat and quietly prepares for the rest of the class. People started to slowly come in class and sat down. Cheyenne grabbed her big math book and acted as if she was reading the book by blocking the front of the class room.
"Aye, weirdo! What chu doin?" A boy walks pass her and shoves the book right in her face, nearly knocking off her glasses. He chuckles and sits in his seat. That was the last time Cheyenne was fake reading.
"Oh yeah! Shoving a book in yo face!" She completely ignores the bursts of laughter.
"Okay class! That's enough! Let's start class, it's better to start early before the bell rings." Mrs. Cooper flashes a smile and starts to pass out worksheets. Cheyenne looked at the paper and licked her lips, ready to finish this whole worksheet. "Now, hopefully you remember algebra from the top of your head because we are starting it today!" The class groans loudly, annoyed with Mrs. Cooper's enthusiasm and Mrs. Cooper herself.
Cheyenne quickly writes her name and starts without Mrs. Cooper telling her. In a matter of seconds, she finished the paper and half of the class was still on number one.
"Done." Cheyenne walked up to the desk and handed Mrs. Cooper the completed worksheet.
"Damn! Nerdy girl already done!" The same boy who shoved her book teased. Cheyenne pouts.
"What am I gonna do about him?" She whispers to the teacher.
"Tell someone." Mrs. Cooper peeks from her glasses and smiles a bit. "They'll suspend him for the rest of the day." Cheyenne shakes her head no. Not unless you want to suspend the whole school. She thought sadly as she walked back to her seat.
