The school bell finally rang, meaning it was time to go home. As always, or as frequently, Sean has detention for four full hours and his plan was still ahead.

"Guys, ya'll say imma go to bathroom before I go in detention. The teacher will go and get me and lock the door and keep the key. So what ya'll got to do is open the window and I will steal his keys." Sean whispered quietly to his friends.

"How you goin get the keys?" Sean was already thinking ahead, he always does.

"We already know his buckle to the key is loose. Just make him fall and they will come right off." Sean grabbed the mop next to him and splashed a bunch of water on the floor. "I got dis."

In three minutes Sean heard familiar footsteps;the click of Mr. David's dress shoes, the detention teacher. Sean quietly tipped over the bucket full of water and hid in a half closed locker. A loud CLUCK echoed through the empty hall.

"Dammit!" You could hear Mr. David's aches cramping from falling on his back. His eyes were closed so Sean got his chance and found the keys near the locker on the other side. Sean quickly and quietly grabbed them and snuck to the detention room. He twisted the doorknob and unlocked the door, getting straight in.

"Aye! He made it." The full detention room clapped as Sean made his way to the open window. He pushed the desk towards it quickly.

"Ya'll ditchin wit me?" Trevy, Cory and Brandon jumped out with him, without any hesitation.

"Aye, can ya'll close the window!" Trevy shouted finish up the plan. The window was shut and Brandon, Trevy, Cory and Sean were pacing home. As soon as they felt safe they bust out laughing.

"Mr. David goin be fooled!" Cory said.

"He goin be like what the hell?" Brandon laughed.

"Sean, you smart as hell!" Trevy said, still laughing from their clever escape. Sean didn't laugh, he was proud, but he was entering the one place he hated the most: Malcom Street (made up).

"Come on." Trevy pulled out his gun and stuck it in the back of pocket. When you enter Malcom, don't ever enter or leave without a gun in stock. Sean saw kids being kidnapped, guns being shot, woman being robbed, he did nothing but walk past. He didn't care and nor did his friends.

"Aye, ya'll wanna deal?" Sean asked, in a mood to sell some cocaine. Trevy passed out cigarettes and lit them up.

"Hell yea!" Cory answered. Mostly Sean sold drugs and killed gangs who messed with him. Never has he kidnapped a child but he has robbed plenty of purses before. One time he stole a ladies engagement ring and sold it to the pawn, giving him 40,000 thousand dollars. As people always say in his hood. "Every zero after every number is better."

Sean promised he will be at Trevys house soon. He stepped into his house seeing nothing but empty bottles of alcohol.

"Ma!" Sean knew who has been drinking, his mother, Rebecca.

"Yes honey?" Rebecca came from the closet, with her bags under her eyes and slurred words.

"Ma, you can't be drinking now!" He snatched the bottle out Rebecca's hands. Rebecca fought to get her bottle back.

"Gimme mah bozzle fag." Sean smashed the bottle into the sink, letting all the liquid drain down the sink. "Noooo." Rebecca passed out on the floor.

"Fuck! Again!" Rebecca passing out was frequent around here. Everyday it happens. Sean didn't feel her if she was breathing. She was, he knew already.
