Cheyenne walked to class with Cassie in the third period, that's their only class together. Cassie continued to comfort Cheyenne, and Cheyenne felt a little better to know she has a friend who would do anything for her.
The two took their seats and talked while Sean, Trevy, Cory, and Brandon walked inside too, chatting up a storm. Cheyenne didn't hide her face, not how bad it was last time. However, just because her face isn't in a book, people still made fun of her in class.
"Loser still decided to come to school! I thought she committed suicide!" Brandon teased. Cassie reminds Cheyenne to ignore them. So she did.
"Now she don't wanna talk, are you gonna again?" Sean made mocking cries in her face. Cheyenne plucks his forehead and faces the other way. "She fiesty now guys, hurry up lets go to our seats!" The class laughs and Cassie just pushes them away.
"Leave her alone." Cassie said.
"Her little tryn protect Cheyennes little ass." Trevy mimicked. Cheyenne pulls her face, waiting for the bell to ring. Luckily the bell saved her from punching somebody in the face. The teacher soon comes in with a stack of papers, showing the class has slot of Spanish work to do.
"Buenos días damas y caballeros. Cómo estás?" She spoke.(good morning ladies and gentlemen, how are you?)
"Buenos." The class said back. (Good) The teacher claps her hands and passes out a full packet.
"Excuse me," Sean says, flips the pages,"what the fuck is this?" The class laughs.
"It's called a packet Sean, ever heard of it?" Cheyenne mocks. Sean chuckles and throws the paper.
"I know what it's called, but I definitely don't know what you are." Cheyenne pouts and brushes her hair out her face. Sometimes it's better to just keep quiet in some situations. Cheyenne thought.
Soon class was over and lunch was here. Today, the cafeteria is serving tacos and nachos.
Cheyenne and Cassie were in the line waiting. "Cheyenne, please don't do what I think your about to do." Cassie said.
"I have no other choice," Cheyenne grabs an apple and puts it on her tray,"I'm pissed, tired, frustrated, I need to do it." The lunch lady gives her a taco.
"Please don't do it!" Cheyenne raised her voice a bit and didn't even care about the others.
"I'm doing Cheyenne. That's my only way to cool down. If I don't do it, I might as well break the damn house down." Cheyenne walked to her table with Gretchen and Isaiah.
"Wassup?" Isaiah asks. I nod and take a bit of my taco.
"Bitches talked about me in the hall today, left me there crying, can you believe that?" He nods scratches his head. "I wanna leave this school. But my mom probably won't go." Cheyenne sighs.
Sean was laughing about his insults earlier to his friends. After their laughter they have a plan to get Cheyenne back for hurting Trevy, Sean, Diana and getting smart with them.
"So y'all up fo it, or what?" Trevy asked the group.
"Fuck yeah, it's time we embarrass her ass." Sean said, acting tough.
