Cheyenne has never been so irritated in her life...she just wanted to pull her eyeballs out her sockets and throw the away. All Cheyenne wanted to do is go to school without worrying whether she gets beat up or not, Cheyenne would do anything to get a break.
Detention finally came. After the cafeteria fight Diana's and Cheyennes parents had to come for a conference. Cheyenne knew she will be ground for at least a week or so, so Cheyenne prepared herself.
Cheyenne was carelessly tapping on the desk with her fingers. Right next to her was Diana. They exchanged mean faces, mocking each other in silence. Cheyenne could believe what she gotten herself into. She wasted her time at school for two fights? Cheyenne was nearly ashamed. Not to ashamed to take the blame.
"Cheyenne Simmons and Diana Cove, please report to the main office." The intercom announced, as Cheyenne lazily grabbed her bag and slumps to the office. Diana opened the door and didn't hold it, Cheyenne nearly lost her balance.
"At least hold the for me, damn." She spats at Diana. She smirks and applies lip gloss as she sat down.
"Now, can we have a peaceful, civil conversation?" Principal Cory plead. As always, Diana and Cheyenne were about to pull out each other's eyeballs. Cheyenne buried her hands in her pockets to keep her from banging the desk.
"Absolutely." Ms. Simmons stepped inside and took a seat next to me.
"Is this you daughter?" I talk woman asked Ms. Simmons.
"Yes, is that asshole over there your daughter?" The father of Diana held back Diana's mother before she could even get a grip of Ms. Simmons.
There were no husband and wife in Ms. Simmons relationship. She had to raise two by herself, and her own husband never even returned.
"Now, is there a reason why you fought this young lady?" Principal Cory asks Cheyenne. She slumped her shoulders. Why do I have to start?
"Most certain Principle Cory." Diana and Cheyenne have each other a dirty look. "She threw a book at me in our first period of class." Diana kept her straight face, not showing a trace of quilt.
"She threw a book at me! I was simply doing my notes and she threw the damn book at me!" Diana just said a lie. In fact it was the total opposite. What Diana just said was for Cheyenne not her.
"No I did not! Don't you start bringing up damn lies or imma whip your ass!" Mrs. Cove face turned burnt red.
"Don't you ever, ever threaten my daughter like that ever again!" Mrs. Cove was frustrated with Cheyenne and her mother.
"She threw the book at me! I'll prove it!" Cheyenne promised that. She took the ice pack away from her cheek and pointed, "she threw the book at me! Ask Mrs. Cooper, she knows!!"
"Well, in lunch this bitch purposely spilled that damn chucked noddle soup all over me!!" Mrs. Simmons wanted to grab Diana by her hair and throw across the room for calling her daughter "a bitch".
"She spilled her spaghetti on me while she was walking by! She started all this shit! If it weren't for her dumb ass to throw a damn book at me and start something we would have never ran into this problem!" Cheyenne stomped and shot a glance at Diana parents. "Congrats on raising your child like she some kind of starting stuff, lying asshole!!" Cheyenne didn't regret a thing that came out her mouth. She kept her word, and her word was true. Diana stood from her chair and slapped Cheyenne.
