Chapter ~ 4

Frisk and Frank stayed in toriels home for four days, it was full of happiness and puns..funny puns of toriel. They would laugh while eating because of one pun toriel would make.

But, unfortunately... those happy memories..are just temporary. Frisk and Frank shared the same bed, since they can't sleep without each others side "Frank.." Frisk whispered, facing Frank. Franks eyes were now closed but he groaned in reply "I wanna go back with mommy and daddy" Franks eye shot open "why?...do you hate it here? With toriel? I thought you don't want to go back?" Frank ask, now sitting up, still facing Frisk. Frisk sit up as well and hugged her knees "it's not like, I hate her or anything....it's just, I have this strange urges to go and continue our adventure" Frisk replied. Frank sigh and placed his elbow on his knee and his chin on his palm "adventure? Adventure can hurt you...Frisk, I can't bare to see you suffer..." Frank said with a care on his voice, frisk's eyes soften "Frank...I'm fine, as long as your there"

"But what if I'm not? What if...I got separated to you?...what if...I can't protect you?" Frank ask continuously. Frisk sigh.

"Then...do you trust me? Frank?"
Franks pupil expand "of course I do! I trust you..." he replied, holding her shoulders.

"Then, if that happens...if we really did get separated....will you trust me that..I can get out, alive?" Frank, couldn't believe what his sister was saying, Frisk would never say that. She would always get scared whenever she's alone. And maybe, that's what made Frank so over protective to her. Its because, she always call him for help or hides behind him.

But, people change unfortunately. And Frisk already did, sometimes. Frank would always get so angry or worried when something, very...tiny..little thing happen to Frisk. He's like an obsessed brother who wants to keep his sister alone to himself.

Frank looks down "i-i guess...but, I'll try" he said, when he's chin was lifted by a small soft kind palm "thank you..." Frisk said, whispering and kissed her brothers cheek. Frank blushed lightly and looks away.

"But, are you sure you really want to go back?" Frank asked once more, Frisk lays down to her bed and yawn "yes...I don't want to be here in the underground for the rest of my life" she said finally, and slowly drifting to sleep "I will try and tell....toriel.......that, I we want to go home back in the surface........right?..." those were Frisk last words that came out from her mouth before...sleeping.

Frank soften his eye, and sigh "I see" he mumble and lay down as well. Frank stares at the ceiling and shifted his head to face Frisk.

"Good night...Frisk"

(The next day)

Frisk and Frank sat on the table fully dress in they're usual clothes; the stripe sweater.

"Good morning" toriel greeted with a happy face "I made you two your favorites!" She cheerfully said, placing they're breakfast, one by one.

"Eggs and Ham!" She said, the twins faces lighten, and started drooling "thank you! Toriel!" They both thanked in unison"why your welcome!" She replied and went back to the kitchen "what now?" Frank ask, sitting besides her "toriel is in a good mood--"

"--toriel is always in a good mood" Frisk cut his sentence "maybe, later..." she added, and continued eating her breakfast.

After a short while, toriel is as usual sitting on her couch near the fireplace while reading book with Frank on the floor reading as well. Frisk was brushing her hair in her room, sitting in front her mirror "I guess.. it's time" she mumble, puts down the hair brush and went outside her room.

She went into the dining room where Frank and toriel are busy, reading "toriel?" Frisk called, and toriel faced her closing her book placing it on her lap and took of her glasses "yes, what is it dear?" She ask. Frisk took a deep breath before speaking "can we....go home?" Toriel stiffen, and lower her head. She was silent, frank close his book as well and stood up "you want to....go home?"toriel ask in a dark tone. Frisk nodded, toriel sigh "no.."
