A/N Hey guys, missed me?
-K

Right after the training I went to take a quick shower with Finnick. And no, not like with him. We were in two separate shower rooms. Even if my wicked and sick mind felt intrigued by that idea, I wouldn't let that happen. I've only 'known' him for like, 2 days? Still that felt to me, like an eternity. I sighed and turned off the shower, walking slowly to the doorway to the changing room. I peeked carefully to see if Finnick was there changing, but there was no one in sight. I made my way to my pile of clothes and started putting them back on. My mind kept going back to the games, which was probably going to start in an hour. I was extremely terrified and could feel my heart start racing, but I still was really glad that I knew I could trust Finnick, Johanna, Katniss and Peeta. They were basically my only friends. As I was in deep thought I heard some noises behind me so I quickly turned around and let out a shrill scream.
"Finnick!" I screamed out of surprise and quickly covered my body with my hands, but I was failing miserably. Mind you, I was only in my bra and underwear so this wasn't exactly the perfect moment for Finnick to rush in. Finnick quickly averted his eyes onto something else.
"Sorry." Was all he managed to say. He made his way to his locker on the opposite side of me. I was so embarrassed, that I didn't even know what to say.
"You look quite good though, honestly." Finnick said all of a sudden, with a smirk on his face. I glared at him and huffed. Turning my back, I started putting on everything else.
I couldn't take my mind of Finnick, he was probably still staring at me, because I couldn't hear any ruffling sounds. Did he actually mean it? Or was it just some sick joke to make me feel better? Honestly, I don't understand Finnick. There is something 'off' about him. I can sense it.
"Finnick, could you please stop stari-" I turned around and found Finnick standing right in front of me. My nose was almost touching his chest. My breath hitched and I could feel my heart stop. I staggered back but Finnick took hold of my hand. I watched his face carefully, trying to level my breathing. His sea-green eyes were shining in the fluorescent lights, and his hair was dripping wet. He was giving me a small smile while putting his hands on my hips. I quickly looked down and saw that he was just in his white underwear. My cheeks were now a lovely shade of flaming red and I felt like I could sink through the floor and slowly descend into hell. God, I have just sinned. My eyes slowly travelled up his body, to his muscular and toned chest. I was observing every little detail and God, was he beautiful. My right hand was now on his chest, tracing all the small crevises. I chuckled quietly to myself and looked up at Finnick. He gave a heartwarming smile.
"Finnick" I say, "Maybe some pants?" He looks down at his legs as if he hadn't noticed his outfit.
"Why? Do you find this..." He pulled me real close to him and I could feel his breath on my face.
"Distracting?" He finished and flashed a smirk. My hands crept around his neck and I laughed.
"No, not at all." I totally pushed aside the embarrassement and just let this go with the flow (for once).
"Tell me, Lucy...Are you okay?" He asked very carefully, looking deep into my eyes. I wasn't expecting a question like this. What is this about?
"Yeah, why?" I put my hands on his shoulders as he looked at me concerned.
"You were hearing voices earlier..." Finnick whispered. Oh. This was what it all was about. He was just being all flirty just to get me close to him so I could tell about the voices in my head. He probably didn't even like me, what a fucking dick. I wiggled out of his grip and took a step backwards.
"So this is what it's all about?" Tears were forming and I could feel a slightly burning sensation in my eyes. "You wanted to get close to me just to get information about me. I can't believe you Finnick!"
"No, no! That is not what I meant!" I turned around and rolled my eyes.
"Please, Lucy. I-"
"I don't want to hear it." I snapped, making Finnick shut his mouth for a while. I put my dirty clothes in a plastic bag that hung on a hook inside a locker. As I got all packed I turned around and looked at Finnick. He looked defeated and sad.
"Lucy... I just wanted to ask you if you're-"
"NO!" I screamed. "SHUT THE FUCK UP! I really don't want to hear it. I am done playing your stupid games." With those words I slammed the locker shut and walked away. Without looking back, I could feel Finnick trying to come up with something to say that would make me feel better. But honestly, I don't like the games he's playing. One minute he gets really close to me, then my hopes are crushed when he just acts like a jerk.
I walked into the elevator and pushed button number seven. The slight windy noise from the elevator was quite calming, until I realised that I just lost an ally. I lost Finnick, and even worse; now I have to kill him.
