Black Diamond- Chapter 6
Shelby.
I walked into school feeling good as hell, I really don't know why but I do. This morning I put on a tight black crop top with destroyed jeans and a pair of black Toms. My hair was out and curly with a black headband and for accessories I had on my Tiffany's bracelet and necklace set. I grabbed my messenger bag then flew down the stairs.
"Morning ma." I kissed her cheek.
She looked sick and still had her robe on so I take it she wasn't going to work. She coughed into her napkin then sipped her hot tea.
"Maybe I shouldn't gotten close." I joked.
She rolled her eyes.
"I'm going back to bed." sniffed. "Have a good day at school and I love you." She tried to kiss my cheek but I turned away not wanting to get sick.
"Air kisses." I shouted walking towards the door.
When I finished locking the front door then turned around to see Prince leaning up against his car with a tall ice coffee and and a McDonald's bag. I smiled widely as I skipped down the path to where I was standing in front of him.
"Morning sweetheart." He mumbled kissing my lips.
"Morning." I said pulling back. "Is this for me?"
He nodded handing me the coffee and bag. I kissed his lips again then he opened the car door for me to get it. Inside the car I practically devoured the sausage biscuit with cheese and a hash brown.
"Thank you Prince."
He smiled while glancing at me. "Anything for you bae."
We finally pulled up in front of Richmond and I sighed. Prince leaned over and gripped my thigh while kissing my neck making me squirm like a
kid.
"Aight I quit. Have a good day baby and I'll pick up at 2."
"You better not be late." I mumbled against his lips.
"Bet." We kissed then I got out and walked into the building to find India and Simone.
When I did find them they were sitting on a lunch table talking and Simone was filing her nails.
"Wassup ma!" I yelled smacking India on her exposed thighs.
"Yo! if I bruise I'ma make you kiss that shit." She joked.
I sat on Simone's lap with my arm thrown around her neck. "I missed you to."
We all laughed.
"What got you in this hyper ass mood?" India asked as we walked down the hall.
I shrugged.
I wasn't gonna tell her about Prince just yet because I wasn't even sure where we going but when the time is right I'll tell her.
"Well anyways we going to a movie tonight. Is you rolling?" Simone yelled.
"Yeah I'm down."
We hugged then parted ways. On the way to my anatomy class I saw Chris leaned up against the lockers with some chick who looked like Keri Hilson just shorter. I was still a little pissed off about his text the other day so I went over and smiled.
"Wassup?" Chris nodded towards me then went back to talking to his broad.
"Can I talk to you real quick?"
"Nah, I'm busy but I'll hit you up later."
Dumbfounded my jaw hit the floor because as sweet as I thought he was Chris just played me like some old Destiny Child cd. Maybe India was right, I should've kept my distant. But its cool though 'cause he ain't gotta worry about speaking to me again.
