Matt's POV:

"So why does your dad seem so familiar?" Dom asks out of the blue. We're sitting in my room playing video games (which is how we've been spending a lot of time, neither of us seem to mind though). He's been living here for only about a week, but it feels like the most natural thing in the world.

"I get that a lot," I sigh, leaning forward to rest my elbows on my knees. "He's in the Tornadoes. They were really big for awhile. Not some much anymore."

"Seriously?" he says, his eyes still fixated on the screen. "That's so cool! I had no idea your dad is that George Bellamy."

I smile and sit back again. Living with Dom has been awesome. He's just such a fun person to be around and being able to spend so much time with him could not make me happier. I've been meaning to invite Chris and Tom over to meet him, but I'm not quite sure how well they'd get along. Well, Tom would probably get along with him, but I'm not so sure about Chris. It just feels like they're two very different people with very different views on everything. I guess if I intend on asking Dom out again, my friends may as well meet him.

"Hey, what do you think about meeting my friends Chris and Tom?" I ask him. "They're pretty cool."

"Sounds awesome!" he says, a huge grin crossing his face.

"I'll text them right now then," I laugh, pulling my phone out of my pocket. Send a text to both Chris and Tom inviting them over. They both respond almost immediately saying that they'll be over soon. For some reason, it makes me extremely nervous. I guess I'm just worried that they won't get along...

Dom and I just sit around until we hear the doorbell ring throughout the house. I jump up off of the couch and run to get the door. Dom follows me, but he waits at the top of the stairs. I open the door and there's Chris, looking down at me. He's quite a bit taller than me and it can be intimidating at times.

"Hey there Bells," he laughs, ruffling my hair. I shove his hand away as he and Tom walk in.

"Yes, please do come in," I mutter under my breath as I jog up the stairs after them.

"And this must be Dominic," Chris says with a smile. "I'm Chris and that's Tom." He extends his hand to Dom who shakes it hesitantly. Tom just gives him a friendly smile.

We all go into my room and we kind of just do whatever. Chris and Tom sit on the floor by Dom and just talk. I sit down on my bed and pick up my acoustic guitar.

The day goes on with us just doing virtually nothing. After Chris and Tom both leave, Dom could not seem happier.

"They're pretty damn awesome," he
says, sitting down next to me on my bed. "We have to hang out with them again."

"Honestly, I didn't think that you and Chris would get along," I mumble, rubbing the back of my neck.

"Why's that?" Dom asks as he tilts his head slightly and furrows his brow. Awe. He's cute when he's confused.

"Don't know," I sigh, falling backwards so I'm lying on my bed with my legs hanging of the edge. "I guess you two just seem like extremely different people."

"Huh," he mumbles and lies down next to me. "Okay."

I just smile and close my eyes. The past week of living with Dom has definitely been the best week of my life.

Dom's POV:

I open my eyes and it's dark outside and I'm still lying next to Matt. We must have fallen asleep... I kind of don't want to get up. I'd rather just spend the night here with him. I turn my head to look at Matt and I can't help but to smile. He's just so stunningly attractive. I get up slowly as to not wake him up and head back to my room, shutting his light off behind me. I sit down on my bed and close my eyes. I was feeling well last week, but I've hit a bit of a low point over the past few days. I'm more tired than usual, but I can never seem to fall asleep easily. There's always some sort of discomfort that keeps me awake at night. I'm lucky to get three full hours of rest.

I'd tell Matt that I've been feeling worse, but I'm afraid that if I do, I'll have to go back to the hospital. That's the last thing that I want.

I go to stand up, but it feels like there's this heavy weight on my shoulders and I fall back down immediately.

Then everything goes black.
