Ch.9 The Dress

=Laurence's P.O.V.=

"I finally got to the gate.... Oh. My. Irene... I'm 3 hours late" I tell myself as I try to catch my breath. I'm begging to Irene that no one saw I wasn't here especially....

I was cut off by "your....late!" I turn my head to the side to see the exact man I didn't want to see, the lord (A.K.A. my dad) tapping his foot on the hard concrete ground, ready to bust my head in any moment

"Heh...Heh...Hey Dad" I say waving my hand slowly and trying to hide the fear in my eyes.

"meeting... in my office... now!!" he says pulling me off the ground and pointing to his house. I know, weird a parent and son don't share the same house, but we all need are space. Even tho I share a house with Cadenza.

=Aphmau's P.O.V.= (morning)

 I wake up yet again in a room I'm not familiar with, I unravel myself from the green covers. I get up from this heavenly mattress and walk over to the bedroom door, and I turn the doorknob opening the door.

I travel downstairs in the house I've made myself so welcomed in, still wearing  yesterdays clothing and my hair looking like a mess. As I walk into the living room there laying on the sofa was a white dress summer dress with beautiful floral designs and a simple brown belt attached around the waist 

I picked up the light dress looking amazed, I went dashing to the bathroom however I turned around when I heard something drop. I turned to see two notes that have fallen from the dress, I bend down to pick them up but ended up  just sitting down on the ground and read one of the notes.

One of them was from Cadenza which read:

"My dear Aphmau,

I'm sadly not here at the moment but

will be back soon. I do very hope that

you like the dress I have made for you,

and I'm positive that it will look just

gorgeous on you!   -Cadenza"

The other one was from Laurence, and it read:

"Hey Aph,

I was wondering if you might want

a tour around the village? If so

meet me tonight at the Big Oak Tree 

at noon.  <3 Laurence"

I brought the dress, same with the notes over to the washroom and got dressed, I borrowed some of Cadenza's make-up for today, hopefully she doesn't mind!

=MAGICAL TIME CHANGE=

FINALLY! I think Laurence should be off his shift now. The whole day I have been watching T.V. and searching through the cabinets for some food.... Ugh! I think I have gained 5 more pounds!?!

I grabbed my shoes and headed out the door making sure to lock and close it on the way out. I make my way through the village, I somewhat knew where I was going, so for right now I'm following my instincts!
