Ch.22 Rain...

A/N: ...It was pretty intense last M.C.D... R.I.P. Aaron, but I have a feeling that he may come back?! I don't know it's just a feeling...he was a main character and the only character who went from a stranger to a friend...<3

=Aphmau's P.O.V.=

I leave the house and begins to rain I grab my jacket and boots and throw the jacket over my shoulder, and slip my feet into the boots I walk down the cold, sopping wet gravel path all the way to the guard station to look for Garroth.

The village seems abandoned, probably because it's raining cats and dogs outside. As it starts to rain harder I start to sprint faster to the guard station. When the station becomes clear in my vision I can barely make out a person like figure stand beside the entrance of the guard station.

"...Garroth?" I walk up to him, he's just standing there with his umbrella, I wonder what happened

"..huh, Lady Aphmau! What doing in the rain? Here, come here!" He runs over to me pulling under his umbrella, he puts his arm around my waist and pulls me close so both of us could fit under the umbrella.

"Heh...umm, I-I have..a letter to send to someone." I say as my face beats red

"Heheh...yeah, I'll send it.." He say, he can tell I'm blushing. He pulls me closer which makes us look into each others eye's

The rain around us slowly came to a stop, only the dark sky surrounded us now...why does this feel so pleasant, something about Garroth makes me feel so safe...

"Heh...the rain has stopped." I say

"Yeah, I guess so..." He says, while taking one more look into my eyes then letting go (LET IT GO!) 

I take a step backwards then reatch into my back pocket and pull out a envelope "Here, this is the letter" I hand it to him

"If you don't mind me asking, but who's the letter to?!" He asks as he takes the letter out of my grip

"Laurance, he's a...close f-friend..." I force out

"Hmm? Laurance? How close is he to you?!"

"Woah! Just a really close friend." I fire back

"S-sorry! I didn't mean it like that, I was just curious" he begins to walk back into the guard station

"Hey! Wait up!" I chase 

"Raven!" He calls as a bird like creature fly's out from the back room

"What in Irene is that!" I say pointing and jumping back startled

"This is Raven the wyvern..." He explained

"....ohh, what does that mean?" 

"He will be delivering the letter to...?" He says, but leaning towards the answer of where the letter will being sent

"...!! Oh, Village Meteli!" I exclaim

"Thanks Lady Aphmau, you can head home. You need sleep!" He says calmly

"Whatever you say...Dad!" I leave as I hear laughing behind me "Night Garroth!"

"Sleep well, Lady Aphmau! Well talk in the morning!" He yells back, as I walk back down the muddy, wet path to my comfy bed...
