Though we all know that dowry is a legal offense in India but still it is widely followed in every community irrespective of religions. Anyways I am a Muslim so this quote is for those who had actually went through this.
"It's so easy for a father to pay unexpected dowry demands on behalf of his daughter yet it's so arduous for a groom to pay the mahr to her bride."
