Part 8

---Liam's POV---

I look at the reflection of the August sun in the deep blue water. I had just finish cleaning up the beer bottles and the razors. I just feel empty. I want her in my arms. Why me, why her. What did she do to deserve death . She was perfect, eyes so blue you felt like she knew every emotion you were feeling, skin so perfect I wondered how she could be human. She was a goddess, my goddess. And her personally was sweet. She could make even the most bitter people like her. I sigh and look at the lake. The water is still. It looks like glass. Fragile and beautiful. Just like happiness. Even the the smallest change can destroy it. I hear a car pull in the drive way. I get the door. Ava is standing in front of me. This isn't the same Ava from the graveyard. She has no dark circles under her eyes and she has a bright genuine smile. I fake a smile and say

"Hey come on in,"

"Okay,"

She says brightly

She walks in. I watch as she looks around my house, taking in her surroundings.

"You have quite a nice house,"

She says

"Thanks,"

I reply

She walks up to the window at tge lake and looks amazed.

"It's breath taking,"

She says

"We can go outside,"

I say

"LET'S DO IT,"

She sounds very excited.

I grab my camera and we walk out side.

As we walk outside I stop to feel the cool breeze tickle my skin. Ava's hair is blowing in the breeze. She walks to up the the lake takes of her shoes and wades in.

"COME ON IN,"

She says

Why not I think to myself.

I take of my shoes and walk in the water. The cold water numbs my feet. I feel a cold splash on my back. I look back to see Ava laughing.

"Hey!"

I say

I splash her back. In a couple minutes it's a full blow splash fight. I could the first real smile I have had in 10 mounts creep up on my lips as I look at the August sun.
