Chapter 4

*{y/n} POV*
My phone vibrated loudly.

"Agh. Go away!" I moaned, but turned over anyways and picked up my phone.

Oh, it's {f/n}. I unlocked the phone and began to text them. They wanted me to come over, but I couldn't because this was the day I was supposed to go meet Barney and Ross with Max.
I had to say no, but, she did actually remind me I was supposed to be leaving.

Getting up, I went into the bathroom, showered, got dressed, then left the house, leaving with only my phone and keys.
I spaced out when I saw Max on the stairs of my house. I then realized he texted me and told me he would be waiting.

"Aye, lad." I joked, using a very bad, Scottish accent.

He turned. "Are you kidding me." He then smirked.

"Sorry. I've been really tired lately, too much work, not enough sleep." I shrugged as he got up.

"Ross and Barney are at the café, I didn't want you back at our house, its weird." Max said, fixing his hair awkwardly.

*few minutes later*
I strutted into the café with Max at my side. I felt the need to impress them. Because they were Youtubers? Probably, although they aren't different from many others, and they always have... vibrant personalities?
I don't know, I'm tired, so I'm a little off the hook. I breathed in deeply, and rubbed my eyes, yawning.
Well, I'm tired all right.
Me and Max sat down. I kinda slumped down gracelessly, as no one said anything.

"What is your name?" Barney asked me with a surprisingly normal accent.

I looked up quickly. "{Y/n}." Also taken back by the attractive accent.

"Nice." Ross said.

I smiled, then gave a yawn.

"Do you guys want anything." Max said to all of us.

"{Drink}, that's all I want." I moved out of the booth to let Max out.

"How about you two." He pointed to Barney and Ross.

"You know what I get." Ross said.

Max looked towards Barney. "You?"

"I just want water, I'm a boring person." Barney shrugged.

I waved my hand around a bit. "I feel ya'."

Barney grinned, then laughed.

"So what games do you guys play in your free time." I asked quietly.

"Mostly Minecraft." Barney muttered.

I nodded. "In my free time it's mostly newer games." I then turned to Ross who wasn't saying much.

Barney noticed me turn and did the same. "Why aren't you talking Ross." He looked up.

"What? Oh! Red was texting me to play like gmod or something." Ross smiled, shuffling his light brown hair. "Can't when I'm out."

"Are you talking about Redvacker?" I asked stupidly.

"Hm? Yeah." Ross put his phone down.

He then looked towards the end of the table.

"Out of the way for a moment." Max said, sliding our stuff onto the table.

I got up again. "Didn't notice you, sorry."

"You're apologetic for no reason." I crossed my arms when he said that.

"Sit down quickly." I snapped quickly as he slid into the booth.

He shrugged and ate his food, as did Ross. Me and Barney looked at each other while we drank or drinks.

"Hey, {y/n} are you single?" Barney asked me.

I heard Max choke and Ross chuckled quietly. I myself, almost coughed on my own drink.

"Wait? What?" I was quite shocked, but tried to keep that to myself.

"You with someone?" He asked me once more.

"Well... no... I mean." I stammered.

"Okay, I was just wondering." He drank more of his water, shrugging.

I felt a stare burning into the side of my face, but when I turned to Max's direction, he was shoveling his food down his throat.
Could have sworn.
But was that Barney trying to figure out if I'm single or not? Is he gonna ask me out? Dude, that's adorable! I'm not gonna lie, but like, my heart is kinda like elsewhere.
