Chapter 14

"Come on!" I yelled. "Stupid teammates suck butt at this game."

I frowned and push the off button on my console, throwing down the remote for it and marching out of the room. I had bought Overwatch, I mean, don't ask why. (The characters look hot and I don't actually own the game my friend does) I yawned, rubbing, my eyes and looking at the alarm clock on my nightstand.

"I WAS SUPPOSED TO MEET MAX AN HOUR AGO. HE PROBABLY TEXTED ME!" I yelped loudly.

Immediately, I heard little scratchy noises and realized I had startled Salem.

"Sorry..." I whispered aloud to the small feline.

I quickly changed and then left the house. As I sped down to where I was supposed to meet him I ran into someone. Well, this isn't the first time in my life where I've done this. I didn't fall over and neither did the person I collided with. We both stood awkwardly looking at the ground when I looked up and saw the natural red facial hair and squeaked loudly. My arms wrapped around him and I began laughing.

"Figures it would be you." Max growled then laughed.

I released him.

"So why did you want to meet me." I asked, taking a step back, then rocking on my feet.

"You know, it's about us." Max said nervously.

I stopped rocking and starred at my feet. "Continue."

Something then touched my shoulder. "I really like you, like, a lot." Max sighed.

"Wait what?" I looked up at him.

"Oh come on!" He yelped. "Why else would I buy you a kitten!"

I shrugged. I mean, this was nice, I really liked him back. I flicked his hand off, chuckling.

"I like you a lot too." I said with a really large smile, which hurt my mouth.

"Do you wanna like date or something?" He asked me.

"Ye." I replied.

Max laughed loudly, then grabbed my hand. He pulled me forward and kissed my forehead. "Aha, good."

I blushed intensely and gave a cute laugh, which was quite gross in my perspective, but whatever. Max began to lead me away, a smile on his face.

"You still haven't hung out with me, like I wanted earlier." He frowned.

"I'm here now, aren't I?" I said.

"Yeah."
