Chapter one : how it began

Violet's POV
So today I had moved to Virginia , me and my dad moved from Southern California as my dad felt we could have a new start in a new country .
When we arrived to the house I fell deeply in love with it already . It was way bigger than my house in California.

I got out of the car once we pulled over in the drive way and I quickly rushed and grabbed two of my bags from the boot of the car . I quickly rushed in the house looking back to my father who was behind me carrying a few bags .
I was ran upstairs looking to find the room I wanted , then I observed the rooms to pick .
I picked one of the biggest rooms so my dad could have the other biggest ,my room was only a bit smaller than my dads but I didn't really mind , I was happy knowing that my room had a walk in wardrobe .
I gave my father the biggest room , it was only a bit larger than mine , it had a walk in wardrobe and a bathroom for him to use .
The bathroom I would use was right across from where my room was .
I piled the two bags of mine on my new bed , considering as we left the old furniture behind in the old house so we could have new furniture when we got here .
My father had already bought the furniture , when I was in school he would catch a plane down here and stay for a week or two , to make sure he could have furniture in our rooms and all we had to do was paint the walls and move everything around to the way we each wanted it .

I jumped on the bed and sat down to go on my phone , I texted my only friend Daniel , he was my best friend .
Daniel lived right next door to me, we would sleep over each other's houses and watch tv . I wanted to cry because I was realising how much I missed him and hoping he wouldn't forget me .

After that I went downstairs and grabbed the rest of my bags , I grabbed a pair of high waist skinny blue jeans, a grey turtle neck and my black bomber jacket .
I ran downstairs and told my father that I would have a look around the neighbourhood and see if I can find a park . He nodded and off i went .
As I was walking down the path walk I noticed a gang mixed with boys and girls , they all turned around to notice me and the girls gave me death glares . I just shook it off and carried on walking down the street , I turned a corner and found a park , I ran to a bench and sat on it . I quickly pulled out my phone and texted Daniel , I was just texting him while we were having a basic conversation one of the girls from the gang came up to me and said "hi" , I replied with a "hi" back , she asked me what My name was , I told her" violet" she said "cool ,my names Adrianna " I said "cool" . She walked away and I turned back to my phone looking at the time realising it was 19:45 ,I thought I should have gone back home .
