Chapter 20:Hope

Jacobs POV
The doctor dodged my mother and took Daniel into a private room to talk . They had been in there for about 30 minutes already , he came out about 10 minutes later . He didn't talk , I felt like he needed some space , so I stayed silent . We sat in silence for about an hour when Daniel spoke, "look she's fine , she had a panick attract , it was lucky considering it ended up getting rid of most of her cancer , she should be able to get out soon " I jumped up and hugged Daniel it was the best news ever . We were able to go in an visit her , I sat at the back chair so she could have some time to Daniel , they talked for 10 minutes when she whispered " Danny can me and Jacob have some time alone " at this point he nodded and got up , he walked outside with Mark and closed the door .
I went up to her and held her hand " Jacob , after all this why are you here " she said weakly with tears in her eyes " because after everything I have done I realised I love you , I don't know what happened but when you told me you loved me too I didn't know what to do ,  what to say , I just froze then walked away , I'm sorry Vi i love you , I hope you will forgive me and even if you don't I will always be by your side " she said to me " Jacob , I love you too , I forgive you " I smiled while tears still ran down my face . I told her after we talked for half hour that she should talk to Mark , she nodded and I kissed her head , she said " you missed, but maybe next time " I turned around smiled and kissed her on the lips softly , he smiled and whispered " that's better " I walked out and called Mark , he rushed in happy to see her after a while , I don't really know what they were talking about but they talked for a while , there was crying and laughter , after a while Mark came out and my mother grabbed my hand and took me in there with her .

Pats POV (Jacobs mother)
I grabbed Jacob and brought him in the room of Violet , I looked at Jacob who was holding her hand , I told her that I would phone her father , I walked over to the door and went outside while she talked to Jacob , I called the father he didn't pick up , I texted he didn't answer like he usually would if I texted . I phoned again and this time a woman answered , she spoke " hello , are you any sort of sibling to Rob " I replied " yes " and she replied " well I have to inform you that he is in the hospital and I doubt he is going to make it , he has lost so much blood and has an infected wound that they are trying to close up " I burst into tears " what about Violet " " whose that " " his daughter who is currently in the hospital getting better" " well I will keep you informed " "okay thank you " and I hung up , all I could think about is how I'm going to tell Violet , I walked in the room and told them both that he didn't answer , I wanted to tell Violet but she is in such a state she would probably be very hurt and would have s break down , I walked out and called Daniel , he told me that the doctor had told him he had to live with Mark while Violet came and lived with me , I nodded and told him if he would go home and pack his and hers stuff and I would talk to her , he left with Mark and I walked to Violet and told her , she gave a weak smile and I left to help Daniel .

*six days later *
Violets POV
It's been 6 days and I was released from the hospital 3 days ago , I have been living with Jacob , it's kinda awkward cause we have to share a room with him , it's okay because his mother helps me in the bath , so Jacob doesn't see me naked . I haven't heard of my dad for a while but I guess he has been busy with work a lot so he wouldn't have time to phone .

Pats POV
Okay so I haven't haven't  of that girl about violets dad since that night at the hospital 6 days ago , until this morning she called and told me that her father had passed , I cried until Violet came to me , at this point I knew I had to tell her , I hugged and told her about her father she burst out crying while I hugged her and cried also , Jacob came down and saw her crying and ran and hugged us both , I stumbled backwards into the couch , I cried until I fell asleep , I felt Jacob wrap a blanket over me and kiss me on the head and whisper " mom don't worry I love you and we can help Violet through this " I said I loved him to and fell asleep , today was the worst I hope Violet is okay .

Jacobs POV
We haven't told Daniel yet , knowing he would be upset also , I was upset and especially for Violet , and do was my mom.
I hugged Violet all day and gave her all the food she wanted , I knocking my phone off to spend time with her , I placed her in my bed whilst I walked downstairs , she was sleeping so it was okay . I knocked my phone on , I had 5 texts from one of my friends , Zoe , we are only friends I hope , that's all I think of her anyways . The texts read
Z-Jacob hey
Z- why aren't you answering me
Z- Jacob talk to me
Z-Jacob we need to seriously talk its important
Z- in going to Virginia in a few days to stay with my cousin Katherine I can finally see you 😊

Oh god , it's Katherine's cousin , I have been friends with Zoe for years but we started talking more when she found out about Violet , I don't know how probably Katherine. I just left the texts on read and shut off my phone , I grabbed loads of food and took it upstairs for me and Violet , I got down next to her and huddled into her and brushed my hands through her soft hair , she is having such a bad time , my mom has mentioned for me to be homeschooled but I refused , I want to stay in school with my friends and Violet .
