Prompt: You're secretly dating Draco because of your blood status and separate house. During Defense Against the Dark Arts, when Professor Lupin teaches everyone about boggarts, one of your biggest fears comes true. But everyone is confused, as to your biggest fear is something you go through almost every day.

A/N: Very sorry it took so long, you didn't give me a plot so it kind of took me awhile to think of this. For future requesters, please give me a plot (pretty specific of what you would like, so I can make it how you imagine it), it will be very useful and helpful for me. But thanks for requesting anon! And I hope you like it! It's also pretty long and it might be because I took a scene from the movie (just wanted to say that so I won't get in trouble for like copyright or something...) And I feel like I ended it in a rush, so tell me what you guys think!

Cruel words are thrown at you from left to right. You show no emotion as you walk down the hallway because in the back of your head you know none of it is true. Your boyfriend doesn't mean what he says, his friends might, but you don't care about them. It might seem crazy to date someone that bullies you, but he doesn't truly mean it. To everyone else, what Draco says might seem genuine, that he actually says it to hurt you, but Draco would never do that. The only reason he does it is to protect you and himself. It might seem selfish, but you understand where he is coming from. You don't want Lucius to treat Draco like he is a disgrace, so you go along with it. You know deep down that he loves you and you love him.

Which is why he makes sure to send you a reassuring glance as he walks away or to make sure you're alright when he sends Crabbe and Goyle off. He never wants you to get hurt, and he keeps telling you that. He wants to tell everyone that you two are together, but you could never let him do that and ruin his reputation within the Slytherin house. You don't want him to get hurt more than he already has.

So, of course, before you are able to walk off Draco sends you a reassuring glance, and you send him a smile as you turn the corner. Right as you turn, you walk into someone. Looking up you see a head full of brown curly hair; Hermione. By the look on her face, you can tell that she has been standing there, listening. It is a mix of anger towards Draco and comfort because she knows your secret.

You told Hermione right after Draco asked you to be his girlfriend, you weren't able to hold it in. Of course Hermione was nervous about the situation. She doesn't like the fact that you're dating Draco and what angers her more is that you agreed to keep it a secret. She thinks he is using you for whatever reasons he has in mind, but she knows that you are smart and won't do anything you don't want to do. But she is your best friend, so of course it will worry her.

She extends her arm towards you to help you off the ground. You take it, and as you stand you brush your robe, dusting off whatever was stuck to it while you were on the ground.

"Why are you still with him?" Hermione questions as you two begin to walk towards Defense Against the Dark Arts. You are actually quite excited, Professor Lupin is your favorite after all.

"Because he makes me happy." You reply, it's as simple as that. Maybe through a passerby's eyes it seems like he hates you, but you know that he doesn't. It is just an act.

Her hands are already raised before she begins to talk, you can tell that she is about to rant, "I don't understand why. He is an absolute jerk! A cruel, snobby little-"
