Chapter 4

Johnny stood over the restaurants bathroom sink kind of tense.
He silently hated being alone, worried that he would sound like a wimpy child if he told anyone especially dally,
speaking of him Johnny's mind kept wandering to when he clenched his jaw at two-bit, it takes a lot to get mad at two-bit even for dally.
He then came up with a more agitating thought, what if dally was angry with him?
His hands started shaking as he ripped of a piece of paper towel from a roll on the side. He couldn't think of a reason that dally would be mad at him.

Johnny turned to leave then of course, almost like a clichéd romance scene from some of the movies pony dragged him to dally walked in.

"Are you mad at me!?" Johnny blurted out without thinking.
Dally seemed dazed at the sudden question. That and for a second he didn't know it was Johnny he walked into.
"What? No! Why would I be angry at you?"Dally squinted.
"Uuuh..." Johnny hesitated, if he told that he saw him clenching his jaw it would probably sound like he was watching him, which would be kinda weird.
"I don't know, I was just wondering."

Dally rolled his eyes and rubbed Johnny's head, he felt Johnny push his head up a little into his hands causing him to leave his hand on his head for a second more.
"What are you doing here anyways?" Johnny asked.
"I need to pissed jeez." Dally replied walking over to a urinal.
"....oh.." Johnny said quietly biting his lip, he stood still for a minute till he realized what he was doing, then made a disheveled movement out the bathroom door.
He walked to the booth that they were sitting in and was greeted by two-bit
"Aayy Johnny!" He said cheerfully. "Uhh I got a question."
"Huh, what?" Johnny asked sitting in the booth.

Two-bit bit his lip and smiled looking back over the booth around the restaurant.
He leaned in towards Johnny causing the young male to back up a small bit away from him.
"Do you like dally?" He asked excitedlly
"Well yeah I wouldnt be here if I di-"
Two-bit cut him off "noo, I mean, like like him... like with a girl."
Johnny thought this was a joke then saw the seriousness in his face
"I don't..,NO! Why would you think that!"
Two-bit grabbed his shoulder and put a finger over his mouth to hush him.
Men liking men wasn't exactly a good thing around here.
"Go on tell me!" Johnny started getting frustrated. Not at two-bit, not wholly.
But at himself because he was starting to question if he like that Jack ass or not.
"Well I mean like.... the way you look at him, and I know I shouldn't be saying this but you told pony you feel safest with him....
Johnny when you were passed out at the Curtis's after you got beat up you had a nightmare and screamed his name." Two-bits voice became soft like a mother talking to a newborn.
Johnny sat wide eyed and mouth agape he didn't know about that.
"I'm not gonna hurt you if you do Johnny.....I'M TOO LAZY FOR THAT!" His voice drifted from motherly to a loud laugh.
"I......I don't love dally." Johnny stated.
Two-bit eased up after hearing him.
"Alright." Two-bit shrugged and leaned back into the booth.
"Wanna just leave?" They both jumped as they heard Dallas's rough voice.
"What?" Two-bit asked.
"It's getting boring here. Besides isn't pony getting out for lunch soon? We could get there if we ran."
"There's ol Dallas for ya, not wanting to be in one spot for long, but yeah man, let's go" Two-bit grinned.
Dally felt a strange pit in his stomach, it was true he's never stayed in a place this long, what the hell was keeping him here for so long?
"I'm down for that." Johnny agreed and shifted out of the booth, followed by two-bit.
Dally was still standing thinking about what two-bit said. This place did feel like home now,but why? The gang? Well naturally but there was something more to it.... He felt like it was at the tip of his tongue till two-bit put his large arm around his neck
"cmon dal." He winked at him then both Johnny and two-bit bolted out of the restaurant and down the street.
Dallas quickly took after them, getting cussed out by an older man he ran into in which he gave the finger to.
