Chapter 12: Running away in and out of reality part 1

Jonathan's Pov:

After the nurse put a brace on my ankle and gave me some gummy worms we left. I glanced around to see Lui staring hungrily at the bag. I rolled my eyes and smiled. "Man, I don't really like gummy worms that much. I wonder whom to give it to...?" I said. I watch as Lui's face brightened up. I fully turned to him. "Would you like them? If not that's okay I can -" I was stopped when Lui hugged me and grabbed the bag. "Thanks bro!!!" He jumped around smiling.  He stopped embarrassed when people looked at him. "No problem.... Bro." I said cautiously. He walked ahead of us with Daivd. I watched as Lui gave a few gummy worms to a puppied face David, blushing a little. I smiled. "Cute aren't they?" I jumped at a sudden voice next to me. I stopped smiling. "Uh, yeah. Adorable." I responded to Evan. "Aw c'mon! Where'd you're smile go?" My eye widened. He saw that? I put my hood over my head more, making my face darker. I haven't forgot what he said. Then afterwards, we're gonna see your face. Those words haunted me. I was planing an escaped with Delirious. I heard Evan sigh. "You wanna talk about it?" He asked. I glanced at him and back, my lips twitching upward. Let's see who wins there evy-bear. Evy-bear?!?! Seriously?! We are NOT dating! Okay damn! I just- I don't know I thought the name was cu-cool! I giggled to myself so no one can hear me. You almost said cute... Shut. Up. I sighed when Evan started to speak again. "That was pretty hilarious. What you said to Wildcat and the lie you told him. He believed it too! After he said you can't lie..." I smirked at the memory. Wildcat? Haven't I heard that name before...? The game smart one! Tyler is Wildcat! I was surprised. Wow. "I...only half lied." I told Evan. He perked up at the sound of my voice and listened. "I really do like his new shirt. I love animals. And.... I think that it's cool that he could make something like that. Maybe he should start a YouTube channel." I shrugged, realizing that I talked to much. I glance at Evan to see him smiling. Huh. Maybe I said to much. I shook my head as I walked faster. Or at least, limped-walk. But Evan caught up with me frowning. I smirked. "Don't frown!" He got a look of confusion. "Because it makes your face uglier." His jaw dropped as I giggled to myself. I heard laughter behind me. Man, these guys have good hearing. We finials went outside and into the parking lot. "Hey, you guys go get you're cars and I'll go get my motorcycle." I started to walk off the I was pulled back by the arm. "Oh no you don't! Your staying with us!" There goes plan A. What now?! I don't want them to see my face! Ask them where you're going. We can get your bike later. "As long as you tell me where we're going." I stared into Evans eyes. "Um-uh...my-my house?" He looked unsure for a second. We all stared at him. He chuckled and rubbed his neck. "Yeah. You guys wanna go to my house?" He corrected himself. Tyler smirked. "Let's get going mother fuckers!" They dragged me to a red camaro with a white strip through the middle. I assumed it was Evans since it matched his jacket that he always wears. I was put in the passager seat as the boys talked outside. I watched as Tyler got in a black with green flames camaro with Craig and Lui get in a dark green with slashed of light green. Luke got in a black and red camaro with marcel. Damn! Evan got in the car and slowly started driving out. He quickly put his seat belt on and so did I. We were by the woods and halfway out of the school district. Jump out. NOW. I slowly unbuckled my seat belt and put it back. Evan glanced at me. "Why are you doing...?" "My seat belt locked." I stated simply and acted like I was gonna grab the seat belt. "Oh. Okay." I breathed and as soon as I grabbed the handle he locked the door and smirked. "I'm not a fool John." I cursed under my breath and put my seat belt back on. "I'm not John. My names Johnathan." I huffed out. He chuckled. "Well, just because I'm an ass, imma call you John." My eye twitched in annoyance. "So john. What's up. I like that name. JOHN." I clenched my fist and growled. He just kept talking! "John, how's your day? John you listening? Hey john your pretty quiet. Johnny-" I snapped. "Don't you ever fucking call me Johnny." I saw him shiver. I panted, feeling scared at myself as he slowed down. "I did it again didn't I." He looked at me confused. But I can also see fear and terror too. I looked away gasping. I quickly unbuckled my seat belt and manually unlocked the door and jumped, rolling down a hill. I can hear all the cars stop as I finally get to the bottom. Ugh. I slowly got up with the help of a tree. I can hear the gang calling my name as I limp/run into the forest like woods. I remember seeing a blue tape on a tree we past. So we're not far from my house! I started going to my left, trying to keep my distance from the guys. After like five minutes, I saw a Familiar blue house and limped/jogged there. I quickly put my key in as the guys were catching up. I ran it and locked the door, hearing pounding on the other side. I heard something about a window and ran upstairs. I looked and my dad's room to see all his stuff gone. Da fuck? I hear whispering downstairs and quickly go in my room and shut the door. I grabbed my teddy bear and backed up. I went in to the bathroom and locked the door. I set Teddy on the sink and opened the window. I grabbed Teddy and got halfway through the window when I heard my room door slam open. My eyes widened as I continued quickly to get to the roof. I threw Teddy up. I heard the bathroom door started banging and got halfway on the roof. I was about to pull up my final and hurt leg when I suddenly heard my bathroom door break. I held on to the house as they grabbed my ankle. I yelped in pain an my grip losened. Come on! Pull harder! They see you're face and it's over! I-I can't! It hurts... I'm losing...for once. Not on my watch. Suddenly, I felt powerful as my eyes streaked a a piercing blue and I pulled myself up without any struggle. I stood, feeling my ankle fix itself and walked on the roof. I walked to the edge and stared at my pool. I looked at the gang as the came on the roof. Evan looked worried. Payback bitch. "Don't do it Johnathan! Please..." He sounded so...desperate. I decided to make it more dramatical and talk about my sister. "She was the only one aloud to call me that. Johnny and John I mean. I was her protecter and she was my everything..." It was dead silent as I let a tear slip down my face. I saw Evan inch closer slowly. "STAY BACK EVAN!" I yelled and watched amusingly as he backed up a few inches. Damn. Never thought he'd be the dominate one. Delirious giggled at my joke. "Who is 'she'?" Lui asked gently I felt kinda bad for him about my joke and escape. He never bullied me. And he's a nice kid most of the time. My eyes softened. "Jenny." I sniffled a little bit. "She was my sister and she.... They-they KILLED her!" I tried to hold in my sobs and clenched my fists. "Now I don't have to worry about being alone." I stepped on the edge. "NO! Wait, wait, wait!" Great job! Nice acting! Now jump into the pool. I put my other foot at the edge. "I HAVE A DEAL!!!" I stopped. I like deals... Fine. Let's see what he's got. I turned a little towards Tyler to show him I was listening. He breathed sharply. "We-um...we won't see your face and not pressure you and let you have your privacy... If-if you don't kill yourself." I thought about it. "Tyler come here." He stopped three feet in front of me. I stuck out me hand. He shook it. "Deal." Then I turned and jumped into the air while hearing Tyler scream my name. I canon balled into the pool and came up giggling, looking at his shocked, angry and impressed face. I swam out of the pool when I suddenly realized... Where's Teddy? I looked everywhere until I heard, "hey guys look! A Teddy bear!" I gasp and ran into the house and into my room to find all the guys in there. Evan had Teddy in his hands. I quickly grabbed my mask from the tv stand, strapped it on and tackled Evan. "GIVE ME TEDDY BACK YOU LITTLE BITCH!" Surprised as we fell, he threw Teddy to Lui. I tackled Lui as he threw it to marcel. I growled as I tackled him as he threw it to Craig who nervously threw it to Tyler before I could tackle him. I growled as I tackled him and he through it to Luke. I glare at him. I hate you. I said in my brain as I tackled his extra roughly to see that he threw it to David. I got off the traitor and looked at David. He sighed and tossed me my bear which I caught and checked for any injuries. I sighed in relief as I hugged him, a few tears unknowingly slip. "You still have that thing? Dude what are you, two?" I turned around so quick and punched Luke in his nose, hearing a snap. "Don't. EVER. Make fun of Teddy, again. Jenny gave me him." I glanced at Craig to find him glaring at me curiously. Then Lui too. The both either shrugged or shook their head. What...?  I shook my head as well. "Well, a deals a deal. Now out. I have things to do, horror games to play." I said pushing them down stairs and into the living room. "Can we play sometime?" "Sure, I guess. Bye now!" I gently pushed them out and shut and locked the door. Ugh. I went back upstairs and changed my clothes setting Teddy on my bed. I kept my mask and laid in my bed without a shirt. I sighed as I picked up the oculus rift and fell asleep....
