Graybat Date >Headcanon<

After a long time coming, Dick and Barbara would finally be going on a date. However they wouldn't anticipate the varied reactions of their family members.

✧Bruce would be happy for both Batgirl and Nightwing, yet upon consulting with Tim and Jason he would be slightly sceptical of the couple putting their relationship before their duties as vigilantes, so he would end up following them on their date.

✧This would only be stopped by Alfred finding Bruce crouched behind a bush, at which he would sternly tell him to "get in the car and leave the poor children alone."

✧Gordon would disapprove altogether. Not because he dislikes Dick, but because Barbara is his world and the thought of her growing up would almost scare him; he would want to protect her and knowing Bruce Wayne's notorious reputation, he would have his doubts. 

✧Gordon would have no idea just how well his daughter could fend for herself, and just how much herself and Dick had been through together.

✧Jason, Tim and Stephanie would simply exchange glances at the news that would all read 'finally' or 'it's about time.'

✧Dick would take Barbara out on quite a casual date as it's not like they had to go through the awkward stage of getting to know one another.

✧Once Bruce was done following them, they would go to a small cafe in the centre of Gotham, and from there they would take a walk along the pier as the sun set.

✧However, duty calls and the work of a vigilante is never done. When Mount Justice would call for both Nightwing and Batgirl, their date would have to end but it would definitely continue later on... (if y'all know what I mean).
