“I think... I think we lost him!” I gasped to Roxxy under my ragged breathing, we've been running in this direction for 5 minutes now, since the Behemoth... I couldn't even bare to think about it. We passed into a classroom to our right, the desks and chairs were laid out perfectly as the moonlight gleamed through the old windows from the opposite end of the room. “Look, Jack~!” shouted Rox, she plumped her body down neatly on a desk at the front of the classroom, “Hehe, we're in school~!” I giggled under my breath at her innocence, she looked so perfect, to be honest, she's quite cute. She had that “Blonde hair, blue eye” factor, which the moonlight only emphasized. I knew she was only playing, though the innocent voice that she occasionally put on had an effect on me. “Ya know, Jack... We're all alone now.”, I didn't know what she was getting at, though she quickly jolted up from her creaky seat with perfect posture like always, she was always perfect when not around Lynne, to be honest though – Lynne had a bad effect on her, she's too childish at most times. “Nobody would know if we were to...” She moved closer towards me, slowly striding as her shoes tapped across the dusty floorboards. “Do something~...” she neared my face, blowing away the brown hair that covered my right eye before her soft lips touched mine. I tried to protest - “W-what are you doing?” but I was met with no response, as we kissed in the moonlight, her hand slid down my sweater to my crotch. “This isn't like you, Roxxy... Stop.”.
She didn't listen though, instead she continued her advances on me. I didn't want this though, I wanted my first time to be on a bed at least. “But... I see you looking at me, you want me, right?”, something was wrong though, her voice sounded different and not only that, we vowed to stay best friends.. she wouldn't betray our promise this easily. “Come on, Roxxy. I think that hungers getting to your head, let's go find something to eat.” I grabbed her hand, the one stroking my crotch and pulled her out of the classroom in hopes to find a cafeteria of some sort, there should be something to eat there. “W-where are we going? Are you... taking me to a dark place to have your way with me?” she said in a sexual tone, I tried my best to ignore her attempts to infatuate me though. “This isn't like you, Rox... Hunger must be getting to your head.” I gasped out as we ran, then she said it.
“I... I don't want to die a virgin.”, I couldn't believe my ears at first. “Who said we're going to die? And who cares if you haven't had such relations yet, we're young. We will make it out of this place.” although that was easier said than done, we had to find a way onto the ground floor to find the entrance to the building and the only way seemed to be the stairs we passed not too long ago... the stairs guarded by the Behemoth monster.
“We're going to have to go back to the monster... We should try to get to the ground floor by the stairs there.”, “But, Jack!”... There wasn't any other way, and I was sure that we were going the wrong way, since the walls here had no markings or writing on. I heard someone crying, someone in the distance, “Someone's crying...”. Roxxy claimed from behind me, “I know... Let's check it out. Maybe it's somebody who can help us find the exit.” we stopped by the girls toilets, where the cries seemed to be coming from. I slowly pushed the door open with a creak, “Hello, is anybody there?”. The cries became softer, until none existent. “H-Hayden?”, a girl stood at the basins, glaring at herself through the dusty mirrors before turning to us. It was the girl from earlier, her blonde hair pinned up with hair clips, although now she seemed to be fine... almost. “Hayden? Why did you leave me? I... I looked everywhere for you...” she slowly stumbled towards me, “Jack... Let's go! She's creepy.”. The girl stopped, “C-creep...y.” her face fell down to stare at the dirty tiled flooring of the bathroom, “Don't be mean, Roxxy. She can help us.”, “I can help Hayden? You still want me, after what I did to you?”, I didn't know what it was that she did, but she must know what's going on here. “I'm not Hayden, my name's Jack, we need your help getting out of this place.”. Her face brightened up at my offer, as she gained a jump in her step, “Really? I know the way out! I know!” she smiled cutely as well as her posture returning to that of a normal girls. “Yeah, we could use your help finding the cafeteria too, we want to see if there's any food in this place.”. She rushed towards me, glomping me from the front. “Aletta won't be alone anymore, Aletta has friends, right?”, “R-Right...”, my heart pounded and I felt something stirring inside me, Aletta was smaller than me, by quite a few inches too. “Whatever, let's just get out of here.” Roxxy said with a huff, I don't think she enjoyed seeing me with a girl she didn't know. “Come on, we need you to help us get out of here.”, Aletta's face dropped again though, “There's no way out of here, I've searched and searched.”, She seemed to know this place well as she guided us down various corridors “So... How long have you been here for, Aletta?” Aletta walked in front of me although, kept a tight grip on my right hand, and Roxxy traveled behind me. “At least 2 days now...”, “Aren't you hungry?” I had to ask, we've been in here less than 2 hours and my stomach was going crazy. “Not really. I just ate 6 hours ago.”.
She... Just ate 6 hours ago?! “What did you eat? Was it from the cafeteria?”, her response was nothing I could of even thought about. “I ate my friend, Amy's flesh. Hayden had some too! It was nice...”, I didn't know what to say after that... Had she already gone insane? Or was that what we had to do to survive in here? I don't know. I couldn't think straight as she led me through corridor after corridor.
“Here we are.” She mustered, we stood infront of a set of double doors, a huge X has been inscribed on them though. “This is the cafeteria.” Claimed the strange girl. Her innocent green eyes could of fooled anyone, though. “But... it has an X marked... What does that mean?”. She giggled, “It just means that the rooms already been explored, so there'd be no point in even entering!”, Roxxy seemed impatient though, “We might as well explore it anyways!” she huffed, barging past me and almost knocking Aletta out of the way, who just seemed to move out of the way, hugging me from behind. “How do we open the doors? Do we just twist the knob?” she reached out towards the door, twisting the knob and pulling the door open with a click, tick.
A bright light burned my retinas and for a second I couldn't see, I heard glass smash. I desperately opened my eyes to see the walls splattered with blood and Roxxy was gone. “Hey, Jack! Stop her!”, My head looked behind my body to see Kuri, he ran straight for us as Aletta pushed me out of the way, racing passed me down the corridor. He grabbed me by the sweater, shaking me “Where's Roxxy?!”. I didn't know though... I ran to the window, I wish I didn't. The view was horrifying. “I'll hunt down Aletta. She knows something that can help us.” With that he ran off in the direction of Aletta.
“Roxxy...”, I peered out of the window, my heart raced as puke vomited from my mouth, splashing onto the unsuspecting wall in front of me.
Looking down, Roxxy had been flung out of the window into the courtyard, many spikes and poles protruded from the ground there. The replay in my mind saw Roxxy being slices by a blade from the trapdoor, her insides began to pour out as she was flinged out of the window, falling down onto a 6ft pole protruding from the ground, she cried out as the pole penetrated the space between her legs, slicing through her bowels, intestines before she fell down deep enough for it to smash through her rib cage, projecting out of the skin of her torso and sweater which now became soaked with her insides.
Her blue eyes began to lose their light as she jutted on the pole, broken cries escaped her mouth as tears formed huge puddles in her tear ducts. Although they weren't tears, instead only blood began to leak from her eyes as well as her mouth... and nose. “I'm sorry... Roxxy.” I fell to the floor in tears from the sight of my best friends desecrated body. I couldn't bear this anymore, I'd rather die than live life without her.
“I can't do this... I still have a chance to save the others.” I thought to myself, I heard distant sounds of crashing, and windows being smashed on a floor above and so ran to investigate. “I'll avenge you, Roxxy. That bitch will pay.”
I ran and climbed the staircase until I came across Kayne. “Jack! Jack! You have to help Zoko! PLEASE!” he screamed at me and grabbed my hand, dragging me down a hallway tarnished with papers, blunt objects and destroyed walls and flooring, every door on this hallway had been opened outwards, and each had an X marked on them. “W-what is it Kayne?!” A room stood horizontally at the end, and I could make out 2 girls fighting which he pulled me towards, I picked up a blunt pole from the floor and ran in front of Kayne, towards the girls. I identified one of them as Aletta and the other had dark blueish hair, it had to be Zoko. I think she was a goner as from behind she seemed to of sliced Zoko's face off with a huge metal axe. Zoko fell to the floor as I was just yards away, “Keep away from her you bitch!” I screamed as I readied the pole, Aletta didn't heard me over her war cry as she swooped down at Zoko, Just missing her head by no more than 2 inches, cutting into the right side of her hair. I jumped forward, Aletta looked up as I drove the pole through her psychotic mouth. Red liquid blasted from her throat and over my sweater as she fell to the floor next to another body, she screamed in agony, piercing my ear canals as I drove the pole out the back of her skull and into the floorboards below. Zoko and Kayne watched in terror as the pole penetrated the old floorboards with ease, pinning the girl to her deathbed. She writhed in agony, desperately attempting the pull the pole out but she became too weak. Then I noticed the body lying next to her.
