Chapter 3- "Krazy Kookie Dough"

Kathleen's Pov

I saw my beautiful little girl run towards me.."Mommy!" I pulled her into my arms and kissed her head, "Hey baby girl....had a good day?" she suddenly stepped back and had a sad look in her eyes. "I misses you mommy...why you have to work all time?" aww..how that hurts to hear here say that. "I have to work so i can buy you ice cream all the time...you ready?" She nodded and ran to get her stuff. "Okay...weady!" 

     "What kind do you want sweetie?" I already knew what i wanted....same one i've been having for years, Krazy Kookie Dough. "I want...chocwet chip!" The lady handed me my bowl and Kaitlynn her cone. We were looking for a place to sit since there was a good amount of people here, and my eyes landed on the booth.

               ~Flashback~ 

"Lou, can we please sit by a window? I hate sitting by wall or in the middle of the room." I began searching for a seat because this place was packed! A small booth by the window caught my eye...It was perfect! "I found one." I went sit in the seat while Louis got our order. Since its our first time here he's ordering a random one so we could try it. "Okay, I think you'll like this one, it seems really good." It was a pale yellow with sprinkles and what looked like cookie dough. We counted to three and put a spoonful in our mouth. It was delicious! I started laughing because Louis had ice cream all over his face. "What's so funny?" how can he not feel that on his face?! "You got stuff on your face!" He was about to wipe it off but then he did that face. It was a smirk but something about it, i knew he was up to something. "Lou..." He picked up his spoon and took a scoop of his ice cream. In a second i had ice cream on my face....he did NOT just do that! "Louis!" This time he was laughing. It landed right on my nose and my lip. I eventually started laughing because whenever he laughs, I laugh. Its like contagious. We finally stopped and began to eat again. "I love you Kat." A smile crept on my face, everytime he said that i get like butterflies i my stomach. "I love you too Lou." ~over~

   "Mommy!.....Mommy!" I pushed that out of my mind and began to look for another seat. "Mommy lets sit in that one!" She pointed to the one me and Louis used to sit in..... Luckily a guy got in it before i gave in. "It's already taken honey...how about the one across from it?" She nodded and we began to make our way through the people. 

   "Mommy, what kind did you get?" I smiled at my daughter, she looked just like Louis with all that ice cream on her face. "I got Krazy Kookie Dough." right when i said that, the guy sitting at that booth looked up. After that, he still continued to stair at me...strange? I tried to ignore him but its kinda hard to eat with a man staring at you...he looked creepy. I mean who wears sunglasses in a store?

    Louis' Pov 

   Today is offiacially the worst day yet. First, my alram clock didnt go off this morning so i was an hour late, i had to book another flight ,and i lost some of my luggage. Right now im riding in a disgusting taxi because my limo wasnt there. I have no ideo where im staying tonight because im not going to my mum's until tomorrow and my hotel reservations got canceled. Only one place can cheer me up right now... "Driver. Can you take me to 14 Bute Street? Oddono's." He gave me a nod and i gave him an extra $10. 

   There it is....Oddono's Gelati Italiani. I havent been here in years....I walked through the door and the usual bell sounded. This store is packed! Unlike when i went here years back there was only a couple people. I got in line ,which i noticed probably shortened before I came here. There were about four people infront of me, so its not like I have to wait forever. I looked around me, things havent really changed here....especially one spot. It stayed exactly how it was, it was this little booth in the corner where me and Kathleen always sat. "Sir? Sir? Your holding up the line." I shook those thoughts out of head and told her my order. "Krazy Kookie Dough, in a bowl. Thank you." the lady handed me the ice cream and I made my way over to the usual table, almost running into a women and her kid. We started calling it the booth, since we came here like everyday. Kathleen named it.

    I was eating my ice cream when i heard the lady across from me tell her kid she got Krazy Kookie Dough, and that voice sounded very familiar. I couldnt help but stare, something about her just makes me feel almost....guilty. She began to leave and i got up right after her, there were people coming in and out and i couldnt find here once I got out, I turned to walk the other way when i ran into someone. "Oh im so sorry, i wasnt looking." I picked up the womens sunglasses that fell and noticed a childs feet by the women's. It's her! I stood up and handed it to her. 

   I couldnt believe my eyes...."Kat?" She looked up from whiping her glasses. "Excuse me?" I took off my sunglasses and i saw her mouth open in surprise. "L-Louis....w-what are you doing here?" "I could ask you the same thing?" She pulled her purse up on her shoulder. "I..uhh...I live around here now." Just as I was going to ask her how she's doing, the little kid i forgot was there interrupted me. "Mommy...who he?" wait...mom? This kid looks about two years old. "Did she just say m-" "It was..uhh... nice seeing you again...Louis. But we really have to go." She began to walk away and I was going to go after her but the little girl looked back at me and I stopped. Something about this little girl makes me curious and I feel a little....weird??
