Our conversation went spontaneously for hours. We've talked about work, family background, places we've been to, foods etc. I found out that she resides a couple of blocks from where I live.

Have you had your dinner? I asked.
she shook her head.
are you hungry? she just looked at me as if she is thinking what to say.
Of coarse you are! I am too. I mean we've been for about 3 hours now.
Yeah and she nod.
It's pretty late and most of the stores are about to close. Would you like to hangout in my place and I'll make us pasta? and she just looked at me with hesitation.
Oh come on! I'm harmless.. I can tell that you are starving.
She stood up and grabbed her things.
What are you looking at? I thought you are making us pasta? You move your ass now. Let's go!

As we got into my place. She just looked around and observed.
"Help yourself" as I went straight to the kitchen.
I turned on my ipod and played Canon in D by Pachelbel. This is my forte. Cooking is like dancing/singing for me. You have to feel it. Follow the rhythm and you can never go wrong with it. This dish that I am making is my very own specialty. I never run out of ingredients at home. This has been my bait ever since and so far, everyone had bit it. It can goes with vegetarians not with vegan tho but it works.

I paused for a second to gather myself. I washed my hands, put on my apron.
I grabbed the stockpot, filled it with water halfway, added a bit of salt and olive oil then I placed it on the burner. I preheated the sauté pan while chopping the onions and mushrooms. Got the mix veggies out of the freezer and defrost it in the microwave. I pour ample amount of olive oil in the pan and sauté the onions and mushrooms. Then I added the mix veggies. "Tan tananan, tananananan tananan" while sympathizing the music, on the other side I opened 2 canned tuna, a spicy and not. Then, I added it on the pan. while waiting for it to simmer. I chopped basil leaves and mixed it on the pan. As the water boils I dropped the pasta over. I added grated mozzarella cheese on the pan to make it creamy, a bit of salt and pepper. Top it with chopped toasted cashew and Parmesan cheese. Ola! it's done.

What can I do to help?
It's done.
That quick?! She asked surpringly

Uhuh! Just sit down and taste my specialty. Beer? Soda? Wine? Juice?....
Water please she said. she doesn't drink alcoholic beverages, she doesn't smoke either. Pretty clean living. An exact opposite of me.

She was pretty amaze on how quick I made of such a good meal.

"I never tried this before. I have eaten pesto in the past... Some with bacon, some with dried cherry tomatoes... But not this kind.. I am impressed.. I love it!"

After dinner, I ask her to go to the room and watch something while I tidy up the kitchen. After doing it so, I joined her in the room. Sat on the couch beside her.

Awesome dinner! Thank you!

"You are welome. Anytime.
You know you can stay here for a night. I mean it's kinda late and it's not really safe for a young lady to go home on wee hours. You can leave early in the morning since you are working late."

Thank you for your concern but my mom is waiting for me.

Phone her.

Hmmmmm??? She took her phone out and text.

I grabbed her phone from her, put it down on the center table.
I held her face, lean on her, slightly tilt my head and pressed my lips against hers. She barely respond. I linger. Then I slightly drawn my lips away. I run my fingers through her hair while I look at her eyes. then I pulled her closer enough that our forehead meet. Finally she respond, she held my face and locked her lips into mine...
