"I pledge, with my heart, body, mind, and soul that I will live to protect the virtues that were bestowed on Heavenway Academy by our ancestors long ago, and to carry on the peace throughout all realms, close and far. If so ever comes a day where the peace is threatened, I will fight with my heart, body, mind and soul until the peace is restored forevermore."

After then we removed out hands from over our hearts and sat down. The teacher annouced how today is a very special day and all that good stuff. He said we could spend the rest of the class period talking quietly and such until the graduation. I got up and walked over to the teacher. Time to use some of the good old charm that my family specialized in so I could find out whether I was gunna be called out. I walked up to the teacher.

"Hey, uhm, can I ask a question?" I asked in my sweetest voice as I twirled my hair slightly and batted my eyelashes.

"Why yes, Angela, what do you need?" replied the teacher, with a warm smile.

"I know you can't say whether I failed or passed the final.. but could you at least give me a hint?" I asked and gave a sweet smile to soften him up. He looked at me.

"Well uh, Angela, I can't uh.." He said but stopped as he saw me get closer to him and rest my hands on his shoulder. This was truly embarrasing because this guy was almost in his 900's. He was really old, but I had to do this.

"Can't you make a small exception?" I asked and gave him puppy eyes and a puppy lip.

"Well... I'll say this.. you did exceptional." He replied. YES! This is the answer I wanted to hear. I smiled big.

"Thanks!!" I said full of glee and dashed back to my desk. I reached in my pocket to look at my picture of Mom, but it wasn't there. I searched my other pocket. Not there. I begin looking around my desk, near the teacher. Nowhere to be found. I begin to panic. That was the only memory I had left of my mother before she had passed away and I was not about to let it become lost in some dusty corner. I asked the teacher to go to the bathroom and he said yes. I looked in every nook and cranny, but no picture presented itself. I was getting anxious. I went into the bathroom. I leaned against the sink and looked at myself in the mirror. This was just great. Then it hit me like a fly swatter hits a fly: I must've dropped it when I ran into Jace! I ran out into the hall where Jace and I had collided and searched vigourously, and there it was, crumbled, but sitting against the wall. I picked it up and apologized to it. I rushed back to the classroom with a renewed sense of happiness, as I entered, I was shocked because the classroom was empty.
