I start to watch this show. It's called Sirens, (suggested by Aderyn), and it's about a girl who likes a guy that doesn't like her. A different guy likes her, but she doesn't like him.
It's a good way for me to escape reality.
On the somewhat "bright side" (if there even is one), I've been hanging out with J a lot. He's crushed, poor thing.
Today. I get to go back to school. Yaaaayyyy . . .
I walk with my head down, trying to get through the 9 hour school day.
By third period, I feel about ready to die.
"Miss Brooke, may I use the restroom?" I ask quietly.
"Try to hurry," she replies in her nasally voice.
I run down the hall, turn left, and head toward the door. I grab my backpack and run outside.
I hear a faint, "Pace Storm to Miss Brooke's class please."
I am never going back to Miss Brooke's class. Ever.

I run to Aderyn's house, hiding in her tree in the front yard as I watch for A to come.
When I see her, I jump down from the tree.
"Hey, A?"
"Whoah! Yeah, P?" She jumps, shocked.
"Can I stay at your house tonight? I can't manage another day at my place," I plead.
"K," she responds. " I get it. Don't worry, we'll figure this whole crazy mess out together, ' 🎶cause that's what friends are supposed to do aw yeah🎶," she sings the familiar line in the Bruno Mars song 'Count on Me'.
We sing songs most of the night, trying to get our minds off of Nemesis.
"A? Thanks so much for letting me stay here," I gratefully say to her.
"No prob. Any time you need to talk to me, I'm always here. Unless I'm at school. I'm almost always here."
We laugh, and then after our next day of school, I have to go home.
I open the door to the worst scolding if my life.
Now I have detention for the rest if the year.
Whoops . . .
