"Shin Hye! You know you can't run or do things that will make you feel out of breath!" He scolded me while hugging me back.
"Kyungsoo I can't take it anymore. I'm so tired of this."
"No. You know you have to fight this illness right. You have to! What would I do without you Shin Hye..." he whispered softly into my ears.
Both of us decided to skip school for the day and went to places I've never been. I can see that he is trying to make me forget about Kai and I really, really appreciate it. I hope that maybe, I could be his angel when I passed on.
The days is still the same. Kai still avoids me so you decided to approach him.
"Kai about later's practice can you make it?"
"No I'm busy with my girlfriend." He emphasized on the girlfriend and he spoke in a monotonous voice, with even looking at me.
"Alright, then I'll just send you the recording."
"Whatever." He took his bag and went out of the class with Min. But Min stopped in her tracks and turned back at you.
"Seems like Kai doesn't seem to like you anymore. Maybe he hates you?" She smirked and pushed me before she left.
I fell on the floor while clutching my chest. Pill. Pill. Where's my pill? I used my free hand and rummaged through my bag. Did I not bring it? I grabbed the table by my side to support myself.
"Shin Hye! Here is your medication. I brought the spare ones." I ate it and he passed me a bottle of water.
"My angel" I whispered, barely audible so that he wouldn't hear.
"Thank you Kyungsoo"
"Nah, I had an uneasy heart, I knew it was about you so I sprinted to find you. And I shall walk you home."
"But-"
"No buts heart breaker! Your life is the one I should be prioritizing now. Not the crappy detention."
The both of us walked silently. I thought of all the kindness that Kyungsoo showed towards me. I have to repay him back somehow. Before I go.
"Stop thinking too much heart breaker. I did it because I.. Because I..."
"You don't have to say it."
"Because I love you Shin Hye. I'm in love with you." The walk home was awkwardly awkward after the confession. But thankfully it was near.
"Thank you."
"Not a problem, I'll be picking you up at 10 am tomorrow don't forget! Mum wanted to have you over."
"Alright. I'll see you tomorrow then."
"Hi Mrs Do" I greeted. I wore the dress that Kyungsoo bought on my recent 19th birthday. It was a floral pattern, lightly colored.
"Hi Shin Hye! Glad you can make it! I'm so happy! And I see you're wearing the dress that Kyungsoo bought for your birthday"
I blushed but felt guilty at the same time. Her son's unrequited love.
The day passed quickly. We went shopping together. Kyungsoo tagged along too. We ate a lot, did fun things a mum and her daughter would do.
It was less than a week before graduation. The graduation is held on Friday and it's Tuesday today. I have already sent Kai the recording but received no reply from him. For the past 1 month both of us also didn't talk to each other, and what not, practicing together.
