Suho Part 1

"Say Suho, aren't you tired of waiting for every summer to come?"

"Not really"

"Why! We've been waiting for every summer to come for the past 7 years now and summer is coming to an end"

"We'll see each other again during the next summer."

I pouted.

Every summer, mum would send me to uncle's place so that he could take care of me while mum is working. I was 10 when I got lost in the woods at my uncle's place. I wandered around until I met a friendly spirit. He introduced himself as Suho and he always wear a funny looking mask. Spirits of the trees, plants and even animals would constantly remind me not to touch Suho as, if he made a skin contact with a human, he would disappear forever. He was cursed.

Finally another summer came, I took the earliest train to my uncle's place. After reaching, I went to my room in my uncle's place to put my suitcase and went into the woods.

"Suho! Suho!" you called out for.

"Up in the tree" a voice replied.

I looked up to find Suho lying on the branches. He was about 1 meters away from me. He swung down to meet me.

"Suho!" My arms open wide and I ran towards him. I halted halfway, remembering about his curse.

We walked side by side and sat near a river.

"Sorry about just now. I forgot that I can't hug you"

"Like it never happened before"

"I just want to hug you so badly, you know?" I confessed.

"Then do it"

"No! If I touch you, you'll disappear! And it's just you and me, take off your mask please it's been a few months since I last saw your face" I pleaded

Suho took off his mask. There he was. The most beautiful spirit I have ever encountered. He placed his mask on my face and kissed the mask that I'm wearing. My heart beats fast than normally.

"Soo Hyun, can you sneak out tonight? There's a festival going on tonight and I would like you to come"

"I'll try..."

"What festival is this?"

"An imitation festival that's held this day of every summer, spirits disguised as humans came. Even humans came without knowing about us spirits"

"And you only told me now, are you kidding me? For the past 7 years Suho!"

"I thought you might be afraid but you're 18 now so yeah" he rubbed his nape shyly.

"But if only this was a date..." I said silently.

"This is a date idiot" he replied, he must have heard me.

I enjoyed the date and went to the nearby lake. A little boy ran past by and he almost fell but Suho caught him by his hands.

Suho's body then started to glow.

"He can't be a human boy ..."

"Come here Soo Hyun, I guess this will be the last time we'll meet each other!" I ran into his embrace hugging him tightly as I could. Suho kept on glowing brighter and brighter.

"Don't go, please" I sobbed onto his shirt. I really didn't want him to go.

"I'm cursed Soo Hyun. I touch humans, I disappear. Remember?"

"But you can't leave me like this. I've fallen in love with you Suho!"

"And I love you too Soo Hyun. Don't forget me alright? Keep this mask" he said calmly.

He bent down a little and kissed me passionately with ever ounce of time he's left. And not long before I notice, I'm just hugging his clothes and the mask he left behind. I weakly fell onto the floor.

"Suho! Suho!" I cried not wanting to believe that he left.

Not only he left me, but he also left half of my heart empty.
