[5 days before my birthday]

It's been 2 years now ever since Suho disappeared but but still came back to visit uncle every summer.

I hummed softly while siting on a bridge somewhere in the forest with my legs dangling underneath. The sky is full of stars that accompanied the moon. It's only 5 more days to my 20th birthday and this is the second year that I'll be celebrating my birthday without Suho... since Suho's... Well he's just no longer around. Not realizing a tear slid down my cheek.

"Shh, Soo Hyun you know it's not your fault. "

"Yeah stop blaming yourself."

For the past year, the ones who always comfort me are the trees and the animals there. Elaine, who is a fox nuzzled her nose into my neck. .

"Maybe if I have never agreed to go to the festival, he would still be here!" I half shouted. .

I quickly stood up and ran back to uncle's place. Along the path where I ran, I noticed someone is there looking at you but I choose to ignore it.

"Soo Hyun? Is it that you? Someone left a bouquet of flowers for you." Uncle called out for me.

"Yeah it's me. From?"

"Not sure? Go check it out yourself. It's on the table in the living room"

*Flashback to last 2 years*

[5 Days before your 16th birthday]

"Hey Suho, so are we like best friends now?"

"Yeah. Hey Soo Hyun, you should go back now it's already late."

"I didn't realize that! Time seems to past by very fast when I'm with you. Goodbye then!" I stretch out my arms to hug him but the trees whispered, 'do not hug him' and that's when I stopped my actions. .
I sighed and place my hands by my side.

"So I'll see you tomorrow Suho!"

"Soo Hyun? Do you have some secret boyfriend that I don't know of?" uncle smiled at cheekily.

"I don't have one... Why?"

"Someone left a bouquet of orchids for you"

I took the orchids to my room and read the letter.

'Thank you for being my best friend. With love, Suho.'

[4 days before my birthday]

I went to the run down playground that's grown weeds and any other plants that needs a host. I walked up to the familiar tree that has a carving.

Every year it would be carved by Suho. I swiped over the freshly carved carving, it was different compared to the previous markings in the last two years.

[3 days before my birthday] .

I reached home at about 7.30 pm and headed straight to my room. I found petals and flowers scattered all over my bed forming a heart shape, just like 2 years ago.

[2 days before my birthday]

A sketch pad was left on my table lamp. It was titled, 'In love with her' it was written clearly with the familiar handwriting. I flipped open and it was full of drawings of me, smiling and laughing.

I took out the other two sketch books which I received on my 17th and 18th birthday and connect them together. I combined the 3 sketch books side by side and the sentence goes,

How do I love|Her properly because I'm| in love with her

[1 day before my birthday]

*Flashback to last 2 years*

"Hey Suho, do you know that tomorrow is my birth-"

"Shh, do you hear that?" I was interrupted by Suho before I could even finish my sentence.

"I hear nothing Suho. As I was saying my birth-," again I was interrupted by Suho,

"Get home quick. The bad spirits are lurking around.

I sighed.

[The day of mybirthday]

I decided to go to the usual playground which is now full of weeds since uncle is working and I'm bored, alone in the house furthermore, I celebrated my birthday alone last year.

"Happy Birthday Soo Hyun!" the spirits wished me.

"What do you want for your birthday this year Soo Hyun?"

"All I want is for Suho to come back."I replied without any shed of tear this time.

Silence passed and none said a word.

"Happy Birthday" said a calm voice from behind.

The voice I longed to hear from.

The voice I dearly missed.

The voice that was my whole life.

"Happy Birthday Soo Hyun" that voice repeated. I slowly turn you body to face the person calling me.

I held on to every ounce of hope that it is Suho.

"Suho? Is that really you?"

I ran to hug him but stopped halfway.

"Soo Hyun? Why did you stop?" his hand stretched out in open arms.

"How? Why?" still unbelieving that Suho is in front of my eyes. .

"I came back, well the heavens think you look too pitiful that's why and they let me remain on earth but on one condition..."

"That is?"

"To bear for the nature with many kids"

Too shocked to reply with words was replaced with laughter instead.

"I will! As many as they want!" I replied. I ran to hug him, hugging him tightly as if we've never met him in decades.
