Finding the Way Home

13: Finale

Hey guys I'm soooo sorry I didn't update when I said I would I just got a lot busier than I thought I would be, and I'm kind of going through some stuff right now, since my uncle just died, so it kind of got a bit hard for me to actually get to writing, but that also helped me figure out exactly how I wanted it to go, and not have it so rushed like the other chapters. So here's the long awaited ending, and normally I would split this up into several chapters, buuuutttt I didn't feel like that. 

"Okay let's just change quickly." Maka said. "Even if we're just going as staff or whatever, it still would be weird to show up in clothes like these."

"I guess that's true, but it's not like we need anything too formal." I said. "Honestly, though, I'd have to say Tsubaki and I are fine. We could probably go back to the manor to get something for Soul and Maka, since their stuff is gone..."

"Okay lets go then." Soul said.

Time Skip to Prom

So, we all walked into prom, and I swear every twenty seconds one of the students would come to me and ask me what happened to the stripes in my hair, or, since for some reason since there were rumors going around the school about Liz and I being a thing, they asked me if she was my date. I never really understood why the students thought Liz and I had a thing for each other, since I never even acted in any kind of flirty way with her, and she never did with me either. I also told to anyone who tried to actually get us together that I wasn't even into women, but they completely ignored me and still tried to do it, and obviously failed.

"Why do people keep asking if Liz is your date?" Soul asked me.

"I have no clue why, but practically the entire student body thinks Liz and I have a thing for each other." I said. "I've actually tried telling the people who kept trying to set us up that I was gay, but they seriously won't listen."

"That's kind of weird." Maka said. "Like, why would anyone think you two had a thing for each other?"

"We have no freaking clue." Liz said. "The idea of it kind of just came up one day a couple of years ago in some students mind or something and ever since they've all been bugging us about it."

"That's just flat out weird." Black Star said.

"Thank you Captain Obvious. We kind of realized that was weird on day one." I said.

"Well sorry for commenting." Black Star said sarcastically and raised his hands defensively.

There was a short moment of awkward silence, before a Here Without You by 3 Doors Down started playing, and we all started getting up because we were supposed to be monitoring the students constantly.

We split up into four groups, the three couples (well, two almost couples then Soul and I) and Liz and Patty stuck together. After we split up, Soul and I were standing by the wall, and the last thing I remembered was feeling light headed.

Soul's POV

I started to panic when Kid suddenly collapsed next to me. I had no clue why it happened, or who the hell to go to. Thankfully, Tsubaki was close enough to see and knew what to do about it.

"What the hell happened to him?" Black Star asked when him and Tsubaki got over there.

"I don't know he just kind of collapsed." I said, still panicking. "I tried getting him up but he's not responding or anything."

"If that happens your supposed to call 911." Tsubaki said under her breath and pulled out her phone, and called 911 herself.

Time skip to when Kid wakes up (next day I guess)
