Michael Clifford
*Mikey's pov*

"Michael Gordon Clifford if you don't get your ass up and ready in the next 10 minutes I'll take your keys!"
My mother shouts from down the hall.

"Arg" That's all she's going to get out of me at 6:30 in the morning.

I've worked this deal out my mom that I only go school two to three days a week and I work. Even if she tried to make me go for more days she wouldn't succeed. I've grown into the "bad boy" label or "punk reject" type.
I couldn't give two shits though, it means I don't have to deal with the stuck up annoying people. So I see it as a win win.

"Michael! Ashton's here!" My mom hollered.

"I'll be down in a few" Grumbling as I got up and picked a pair of jeans and a t-shirt off the floor.

"Hey man you ready to go?" Looking at my best friend Ash.
Ashton normally drives me to school since we let him crash here whenever they're having family problems.

*skiping the car ride*

"Alright, get out. Oh and don't be an ass to that Luke kid. He's never gonna like you back if you shove him into lockers every day" Ash chuckled before pulling away.
He's the only person who knows about my ever lasting crush on Luke.

Don't get me wrong there's nothing wrong with being into dudes, its just that I'm not good at expressing my feelings so I do the exact opposite. I always get fucking nervous and I end up being rude. I've heard him call me his bully a couple of times. That honestly tears me apart.

*bell rings*
"Late again I see Mr. Clifford"
Mr. Waters, my maths teacher fired at me.

"Sorry Mr. W it won't happen again."
I retorted even though I lied straight through my teeth.

"Luke Hemmings and Michael Clifford, please go the counseling office." The annoying woman's voice said over the intercom.

As I was walking towards the office kids kept staring at me, like what the hell mind your own goddamn business.

"What the hell are you looking at?" I grumbled as the two girls scattered away.

As I walked in I was greeted to Luke standing there just as confused as I was.

"Ah yes you two come with me."  the Academic Prep counselor informs us. "Take a seat please" Although there was only one chair, Luke and I sheepishly looked at each other. I did a small nod towards him as he sat down.

"Michael, I'm sure you know what your grades are like so I've talked to both your parents and I'm making Luke your tutor for the rest of the year." The academic prep counselor who's name I've already forgotten said while looking at his computer.

I looked at Luke. A whole year with the boy I love.
