"C'mon you totally like her dude!" My closest friend Calum shouted.

"Shh! I do not!" I replied. "She can probably hear you!"

There's nothing wrong with Calum, he's my best friend and I love him like a brother but, there's one problem between us. He doesn't know that I might be gay. I've known him since primary school, but this is the one thing I don't think I can tell him.

"What she's like the prettiest girl in our grade, how can you not like her?" He was practically shoving his words down my throat.

"I just think there's more to someone than their looks". I covered my mouth. As soon as those words left my mouth I knew I was going to instantly regret it.

"Aw is Lukey-Pukey a sappy romance boy" he cooed. Poking my cheek.

"It's not like that" I retorted trying to hide the blush that has creeped up on my cheeks.

"Let's just go." I pleaded, desperately trying to change subjects.

Calum chuckled. "Yeah, lets go princess boy" he said before turning around and setting off to walk to his car.
