Michael

I've never been more thankful for a weekend in my entire school life. I don't think I could bare the thought of having to see Luke again. It's enough that I gave him my number, I'm honestly not sure why I did that. I thought maybe this project crap wouldn't be such a bad thing, but when I woke this morning I think I finally realized what a stupid move that was. I'm trying to get over him. Not that I've ever actually been into him. I'm just needing to get over the fact that when he smiles my heart literally skips a beat, or how he laughs he instinctively covers his mouth. It's all the little things that I've come to like.

"Michael I know you're home!" I knew that voice all too well. Ashton. "Get your ass down here we're going out!"

I quickly grabbed a pair of jeans before Ash could barge in my room and make fun of my pizza boxers, again.

"I'm coming don't get your knickers in a twist." I tried suppressing a laugh, evidently failing. "Where are we goin?" I asked, while yawing.

"Just out, I was maybe thinking we could go to  the Paintball Shop today. We haven't gone in a while."

"Dude maybe some other time. I was just going to play Final Fantasy."

*crappy phone noise*

I got up searching for my phone, knowing it wont stop until I find it. It was between the couch cushions. It was a text from an unknown number. Assuming Ashton figured that out he went to the kitchen to steal some of my food, like always. Brushing him off I went to see what the text read.

"Hey um, I was maybe thinking we could get started on your tutoring. The sooner we start the quicker your grades will go up." I read aloud.  Seconds after they sent another text. "I mean if you want to, you don't have to if you don't want too. Sorry forget I asked it was a stupid idea."

Assuming it was Luke because he's the only person I'd let tutor me. He makes it hard to get over him when literally everything he does makes me smile. Without even thinking I pressed the call button. He answered on the third ring.

"H-hello?" Yup, it was definitely Luke.

"Hey." I was nervous. I've never been nervous talking to another dude, why was I now? "I was thinking you could come to my place and we could study here? If that's chill."

"Uh, yeah I guess. I just uh, I don't know where you live."

Right. How could I forget that.

"Text me your address, I'll come pick you up." This wasn't weird right? Asking someone for their address like this? Totally not weird.

"I, uh okay. Uh I'll see you soon then. " With that he hung up, seconds later I received his text telling me where to go.  Quickly entering his number to my contact list. I settled on "Lucas" with the Penguin emoji next to his name.

"Hey Ash I'll be back soon."  Yelling from the front hallway, hoping he'd hear me.

"Oi going to pick up your boyfriend?" He was smirking as he walked into the living room with my favourite cereal in his hand.

"Shut up." I quickly said before heading out."
