Jonathan's POV:I rolled over, waking to the sound of birds chirping outside. Opening my crystal blue eyes, I blinked against the rays of sun that filtered in through the half drawn blinds, not fully prepared for the bright light. I was about to sit up when movement on the bed beside me made me tense up. I looked over to see Evan and sighed, remembering the day before. For a moment I just laid there, staring up at the ceiling. Something felt different, and not just the fact that I had shared a bed with Evan. I finally stood up and quietly made my way toward the bathroom, flicking on the lights as I entered. Staring at myself in the mirror, I realised that I had slept in my street clothes; jeans, t-shirt and hoodie, which I guess was okay but I hoped there wouldn't be any blood on them. I turned, examining the clothes for red stains but there was nothing. Lifting up my shirt, I gazed upon my scarred up chest. To my surprise, there were no new scratches. I checked my arms and thighs to make sure I wasn't hallucinating and found that there were no new scrapes what-so-ever. That was new for me. Usually every night I'd claw at my skin until I drew blood but something stopped me from doing so the night before. Maybe it's because I slept with- Loud knocking at the hotel room's door drew me from my thoughts and make sure I pull my sleeves down before running to see who it was. Peering through the small peep hole, I could see that it was Brock on the other side. I unlatched the lock and opened the door.
Brock sighed and I invited him in. "Dude, everyones worried about you and Evan. You two totally just disappeared from the party without warning!" Brock started moming at me but paused, looking around. "Is Evan here? Is he okay?" Brock questioned, sounding worried.
"Yeah, he's fine. He's just sleeping." I reassure him and he dodged around me, peeking his head around the corner at where Evan lied, snoring softly on the bed.
"Why did you two leave early?" Brock looked back to me.
"Well, it's a long story but Evan got fucking drunk off his ass and I had to bring him back here before he got too out of hand..." I explained and Brock rolled his eyes slightly.
"You could've at least told us, we couldn't get a hold of you. I swear to god we thought you died."
"Well here we are, we're fine and alive. Now was that all you needed?" I inquired.
He seemed to ponder my question before replying, "No, actually," he lowered his voice, "about what I asked you before the party yesterday... you never really answered my question."
I thought for a moment, having a difficult time remembering what he asked. "What was the question again?"
Brock looked over at Evan as he rolled over and then pulled me aside out of earshot. "How do you feel about Evan?"
I didn't know what to say, probably because I didn't know how I really felt. "Evan's my friend and I respect him but..."
"But what?" Brock raised an eyebrow at me.
"But lately, I don't know, It's been weird. I like him as a friend but there are times when we touch and I get the chills. I don't hate the idea of being with him but at the same time I'm not sure. It's confusing." I breathed out
Brock smiled, "Well, I think it's adorable..."
I blushed a crimson red under my mask, hitting Brock hard on the arm. "You're not helping."
He chuckled throwing his arms up in defense, "hey, i'm just sayin'."
"Jon?" A (moanOH OOPS MOAN AND GROAN ARE TO DIFFERENT THINGY THINGS LOL) groan flows through from the other room.
"Well, destiny calls for you," Brock says with a smirk as he pats me on the back before turning towards the door.
"Just, shut up and leave," I chuckle in return, pushing him out as soon as he opened the door.
"Keep things PG in there alright?" He had an obviously fake tone of concern thinly fogged over his joke.
"Shut the fuck up," I laugh again, slamming the door in his face, quickly turning around.
"Jon?" The groan was louder, almost needy.
"Even, are you aight?" I hesitantly ask as I make my way around the corner. As I round the corner I see him sprawled across the whole bed, one arm over his face as if shielding himself from something.
"The curtains..." he groaned again. Oh, wow, it's bright as fuck in here. Oops. I walk slowly over to the curtains and shut them. I turn back to him, his arm still covering his face and I sat down on the couch, opening my phone up. Oh dear, 5 messages and 4 calls from David, 6 messages and a phone call from Tyler, 12 messages from Lui, 5 phone calls from Brock, and around 20 messages from Craig... jesus fuck guys. I shut off my phone and threw it lightly across the couch getting up again. Evan was now sat up on the foot of the bed rubbing his eyes in frustration.
"I'm so fucking sorry, Jon," Evan whispered, squinting trying to look at me. I waved my hand in dismissal at his apology, it wasn't needed and I wasn't angry with him or anything like that. I walked over to my bag and pulled out some Advil, dumping 3 into my hands. Then I walked to the mini fridge snuggled tightly in the corner on a counter, grabbing out a soda. I hand Evan both, sitting softly beside to him.
"Here, take these." He takes the three small pills from my hand and shoves them into his mouth, using the soda to wash them down. He sighs, rubbing his temple.
"God damn, I have a killer headache." The clearly hungover man whined.
"That's what you get for drinking too fucking much!" I laughed at his pain, slightly amused at the fact that he managed to get hungover.
"Jesus, be quieter!" Evan exclaimed, flinching away from me. This caused me to laugh even harder and Evan groaned louder. "Can you leave, like go get breakfast or some shit!"
I stood up, walking to the bed stand and picked up the phone, "you can't get rid of me, sorry," I chuckled as I began ordering room service. After I finished placing the order, I went over to my suitcase to get fresh clothes. This is when Evan realised that both of us still had on our clothes from the previous night.
He seemed to remember what happened, looking down and then to me and to the side then back to me again, clearly flustered. "Uh...about last night...we didn't... did we?" He questioned awkwardly, his face turning more red than ever before.
I was also blushing furiously but I laughed it off, "Nah, you'd know. You probably wouldn't be able to walk for a week if we did." I cracked up laughing and the tension melted away as Evan laughed along, blushing even more. He winced slightly, holding his head.
"Oh holy shit," he tried to stop laughing.
"Dude just take it easy," I chuckled, "the drugs'll kick in soon and you'll be fine." I reassured and he laid back on the bed with a sigh.
"I just can't wait for the food to get here." He rubbed his stomach slightly, "I'm so hungry, I could eat a horse."
"You mean a dog, or maybe a cat?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
Evan gasped, pretending to be offended, "Jonathan, just because I'm Asian doesn't mean I eat dogs!" He exclaimed and we once again burst into laughter.
Minutes later, there's a knock and somebody yells "ROOM SERVICE!" from the hall. I answered it and brought in the small cart of food, wheeling it to the bedside where Evan rested.
"The pancakes with bacon is yours and I got waffles with sausage for myself!" I exclaimed and he sat up, licking his lips hungrily. He picked up the small container of syrup on the cart and poured it over his breakfast, nearly smothering it.
We began to dig into the food, enjoying it in a comfortable silence until Evan finally spoke up."So what really happened last night?" He asked, looking up at me.
I swallowed hard, picking slowly at my still fullish plate, not quite sure how to answer his question. "Ya know, ya got drunk, you were all over me, and then ya passed out..." I hesitantly said, "I also brought you here before you made too much of a dumbass outta yourself, so I think you're good."
"Are you?"
"Am I what?"
"Are you good?"
I shrug my shoulders, "never been better."
"I'm sorry about being all over you," Evan mumbles, letting his eyes wander to the carpeted floor.
"It's aight, we're cool man, don't even worry bout it," I say with a soft airy chuckle, the aura between us becoming more comfortable.
"If I asked you what I did," he pushed some pancake around in some syrup before finishing, "would you tell me?"
"All you really did was sit in my lap, clung to me like a fucking koala, and tried lifting my mask," I thought a bit more, laughing at the last part, "and you also spooned me last night so yeah..."
Evan's face grew a light blush shaking his head, "Dude, I'm so-"
"Yeah, yeah, you're fucking sorry I get it," I snapped, what the fuck was that, Jon? It made Evan shut his mouth though, finishing the last bites off his plate. "Hey, I'm sorry Evan... I don't know why I snapped at chu," I lightly touched his forearm from across the bed and looked him in the eyes. He stopped instantly, staring at my hand on his arm before looking up at me curiously. "I just don't see what there is to be sorry for..." For some reason I regretted this a bit but it almost felt like instinct to do so, reaching out for him, touching him(A/N: NOT in that way you dirty garden hoes).
"Jon..." Evan said looking into my eyes intensely, "I'm not sorry, then, everything I did was on purpose."
"Eva-" I was cut off by another knock at our door. I put up my index finger signaling that our conversation wasn't over as I walked to the door. I look through the peephole and see our anxious group waiting impatiently on the other side. I sighed as I opened the door, all of our friends flooding in without my permission.
"So..." David started, "what happened?" He questioned suggestively.
"Well, Evan got drunk and-"
Nogla cut me off with his durpy half smile, "ohhhh. Okay, I totally understand."
"What? You think they fucked?" Tyler chimed in.
Craig and Lui 'awwwwww-ed' from behind them and I rolled my eyes slightly. "I owe you ten bucks, damn..." Craig sighed and Lui snickered holding his hands out for money.
"Wait... Is Evan still here?" David questioned and before I could stop them, they pushed past me into the main part of the room.
"Guys what the hell are you doing here?!" I heard Evan exclaim and I peeked around Nogla to see that he was standing shirtless, trying to cover his chest. I guess I had never seen him shirtless before because for some reason, he looked muscular as shit. I felt myself staring and tried to drag my eyes away but they wouldn't leave his body.
From the front of the group, Tyler started to look around, taking in our room as Evan finished putting his shirt on. He noted that the couch was empty and sprung onto it, laying with his arms resting over his chest. He looked over to the bed and noticed how messed up it was. "Yup, they definitely did it last night," Tyler chuckled.
Evan turned bright red, "did what?"
"Duh, you fucked!" Brock exclaimed, leaning against the wall.
"The ship has sailed!" Nogla yelled in his thick Irish accent.
Evan looked to me desperately, waiting for me to tell them that nothing happened. I smiled slightly, "You guys caught us," I raised my hands up and walked to Evans side, "we did it last night." I joked, laughing slightly.
"Wait...really?" Lui asked and Tyler laughed.
"Nahhh. They're wearing the clothes they had on at the party last night which means they didn't get naked. That also means they probably just crashed after they got back." Tyler said and flashed me a knowing glance. This made me think of what happened at the party and how Tyler had witnessed part of it but chose to flee instead of helping me.
"Wooooow, Tyler. Way to ruin it!" David exclaimed angrily.
"Don't get me wrong," Tyler raised his eyebrows, looking to David, "I'm a bit disappointed myself," he stated.
The entire time, Craig stared at Evan and I, furrowing his brows in thought, "But what if they did? Who'd bottom?" He questioned and David eyed the two of us up.
"I think it'd be Evan," he speculated.
"What? Me? Why does everyone think I'd bottom?! I think I'm pretty strong and manly. Like what the fuck." Evan exclaimed, throwing his arms in the air.
I snort, shaking my head. "Nope, yer my bitch and that's that." I say. Everyone started to laugh, including Evan, although I could tell this conversation made him a little uncomfortable.Soon, everyone calmed down and Craig spoke up, "so what are we gonna do today. We might as well do something together since we're all here." He said.
"How bout we go to the beach?" Lui suggested. "We can build sand castles!" He shouted excitedly in his famous squeaker voice.
"I don't have swim trunks..." Brock whinned.
"Go skinny dipping then." Tyler suggested, chuckling as he sat up on the couch.
"Pft, no way in hell will you get me to go skinny dipping!" Brock exclaimed, making Craig and David laugh.
Lui chimed in, "Strip, strip, strip!" Brock let out an awkward laugh.
"You can borrow my trunks," I offered, "I brought a pair but I don't think that I'll be swimming."
"Why not?" Tyler questioned, "you got some hickeys that you're hiding?" He gave me a mischievous smirk.
I gave his shoulder a light punch, "no, shut up!" I laughed, turning to everybody else, "how bout we all meet at the beach at noon. It's..." I paused, looking at the digital alarm clock on the nightstand, "It's only 10:40 so that should be plenty of time for you ladies to get ready."
"Sure," Craig agreed, looking at a watch. "That gives us a good hour."
"Alrighty then," David said, "noon it is!"
"Okay, now that that's settled, can you guys get out?" Evan asked.
"Sure, we'll get out of your hair," Brock said, ushering the other four men out of the room and into the hall.
"Wait, Brock," I ran to my suitcase and pulled out some clothes, throwing them onto the bed as I searched for my swim trunks, "Here," I said, handing him a pair of white, light blue and black shorts.
"Thanks," Brock said with a light smile and jogged down the hall to catch up with the rest of the group.
Taking a deep breath, I closed the door, leaning with my back up against it. "They're finally gone!" I chuckled.
"Yeah, well we have to go see those fucktards..." Evan said affectionately, pausing to retrieve his swim suit, "...later at the beach."
"Yes, yes we do..."-----/////-----/////-----/////-----
