The Ice Queen

Soon to be Queen and Have Freedom

     Three years later, Elsa was 21 and Anna was 18. One early day in the springtime, Elsa was in her bedroom, as usual, looking out her window. She saw sail boats in the bright blue lake. She saw the tall mountains in the distance and townspeople walk into wooden shops. That day, she was oddly calm and in a cheery mood. 15 minutes later, someone knocked on her door. She heard it and assumed it was her servant. She waited a couple seconds after the knock but no one came in. She asked,
 "Who is it?"
 "Princess Elsa? We need to speak to you," a voice said. She didn't know who it was and didn't recognize the voice. It definitely wasn't her servant.
 "Come in I assume," Elsa said. When the door opened, Elsa turned around to face the people who came in. There were six guards and a person she didn't know. "Who are you?" Elsa asked. The person she didn't know started,
 "Since your parents' death three years ago, I have been mostly taking care of Arendelle, along with your sister." Elsa made a straight face.
 "What?" She questioned and the guy just kept continuing,
"I came here to let you know that your official coronation is in two months. You will be queen of Arendelle, ONLY if you follow these important, special, and serious rules. If you can not accept you will have to leave Arendelle and the throne will be passed down to your sister, Princess Anna." Elsa could not let Anna have throne. She still hated her, and knew that if Anna had become queen, she would always ask things from Elsa, harass her, and take away her freedom, and she did not want any part of that so she went along with being queen herself, and maybe switching up the rules a bit. A small grin formed on her face. "Also," he continued, "All the important people of Arendelle and I have talked for five months about your behavior. We know that you have ice/snow powers that you can not handle. We want to know if you are capable of handling them now. If you cannot, you can not be throne. We will also let you have your freedom around the kingdom only so you can be prepared and practice for the coronation." Elsa could not believe what she just heard. She had enough time to think about her plan to kill Anna. It wouldn't be then, but soon. She needed cleverness and time. She also heard the man mention, "we know that you have ice/snow powers that you can not handle. We want to know if you are capable of handling them now." Elsa immediately answered these questions.
 "I will go over and understand the rules of being queen. I will accept no matter how hard it is for my powers. This kingdom will be treated right and safely," She lied. "I can most definitely handle my powers now and they will not mean harm to anyone in Arendelle. And I would like to be free around the kingdom so I can get prepared for the coronation. I think I can handle it."
 "Very well then," he spoke. "Here are all the rules of being royalty." He gave Elsa a large book.  "Let me know if you accept or not, after you have gone over them. I will be back next week to go over your freedom and the rules. Thank you for your time and honesty." The guards and the guy bowed down respectfully and left the room. Elsa thought about her different plans for about an hour and then started to read the large book of laws and rules. She needed to finish it before the next week.
