The Past Can Never Be Hidden

Okay so before the chapter starts, im gonna tell you whats going on. this story is just as much about the parents of Rose, Blade, Onyx and Hunter as it is about them. The adults in the story are important characters too!

~~~~~~~~~Onyx POV~~~~~~~~~~

I back away from the slightly open door to my mom's room. Did they really just kiss? My mom can not be Bisexual... And her and Rose's mom? This cant be happening. I stumble down the hallway back to my room and fall onto the bed. I lay there in Rose's arms. Im just gonna go to sleep....

****Morning****

I wake up, my head pounding. Last night is a blur... running through the woods.... a guy with a flashlight... the rec.... my window. I face Rose and lay looking at her. She opens her eyes and stretches. "Hi love... did you sleep well?" I ask her. She nods and yawns, burying her head in my chest. "No hun we've gotta get up. Its already noon." She wiggles and stretches. Sitting up, she pushes me off the bed.

"Wake up Onyx, its your turn."  she says and stands up. She grabs her makeup and puts on her foundation that turns her skin even lighter.  I sit on the floor looking at her. She finishes her makeup and turns to me. "Get ready so we can go out there. Hunter and Blade have probably been here gaming for hours." She grabs her jeans and her mother's blue black and white plaid flannel shirt. She buttons it and rolls the sleeves up to her elbows. She puts on her mother's old knee high converse and looks at me. "I'll be out there until your done."

"Noooo say here. Im almost ready!" I say as I put the eyeliner down. "See? Just clothes...." I say and look around trying to find a pair of jeans. I put on some ripped up ones and put on my mother's black and white hoodie shirt. "Hey Rose...."

"Yeah?"

"Nothing... I forgot."

"Oh okay... if you remember tell me. okay?"

"Okay. Lets go see them." We walk out into my hallway to Heather trying to cook eggs and pancakes.

"Hi girls! I um... I made you breakfast!" She says trying to make it sound better.

"No bacon?" I ask. "I love bacon."

"Eww how can you like BABY pigs?" Rose and her mother yell at the same time. I roll my eyes and walk into the living room to Blade, Hunter and my mother gaming out to Little Big Planet.

I jump onto the couch between Hunter and Onyx. I watch them fail at Little Big Planet and start to zone out. Onyx is mine.... She really is. I have to talk to her about it. I don't know if she remembers it. I cant just pull her away or else it will be too obvious. Maybe if we can get away from Blade and Hunter. I cant ask her infront of them... If she said no then that would be horrible... I just... This fucking sucks. Onyx gets up and walks towards the bathroom. This may be it. I count to 60. So fucking slow. I get up and walk towards the bathroom. "I'll be right back. I just gotta go to the bathroom." I stand in the hallway waiting for her to come out. She comes out and I pull her into her mother's room.

"What the hell Rose?!" she asks.

"I just really need to talk to you about something... Im sorry.."

'You know I hate it when you say sorry love..."

"Yeah... I know." I say, tempted to say sorry but catching myself. "Do you remember lastnight?"

"Its hazy... but yeah." she says.

"What exactly do you remember?" I ask, afraid of the answer.

"What do you remember?" she asks, looking at me. So it really wasn't something to argue with....
