Sara and Leo rode down the elevator to the party.
" Why did they put us on the 30th God damn floor?" Leo asked looking at the ceiling obviously forgetting this morning.
" Because Rip has issues." Sara replied smart-alec tone, most likely pissed at Leo not remembering this morning.
They both sat in silence until they reached the 20th floor. They both turned at each other and grabbed one another. Leo pulled Sara into his body while Sara entwined herself into his chest. They both kissed each other madly.
" I love you." Sara gasped before could grab her into another kiss again.
Leo grabbed her tighten and grasped her hair wildly. Sara grabbed Leo's neck and yanked him closer. They both pulled away as the 1rst floor bell dinged. Sara pulled down her hair and tried to look like she hadn't been happy for the first time since she ' killed '.
" Good afternoon." Ray said to Leo and Sara, " Leo, looked like a tornado blew into you and Sara, your cheeks are flaming hot."
" That elevator is stuffier than you might think." Leo said in his stout way of his.
Sara looked at him, realizing no one could know this at all.
" You guys look flustered." Kendra added as she came over to us.
" That's what they all say." Leo said smoothly as always.
" We are here for Savage." Sara intervened.
" Right." Ray agreed, looking the slightest bit suspicious.
The team set off for the party. The team mainly explored around, chatted it up with a few people. Then, Savage was spotted.
" We have eyes." Sara said to the microphone in her ear.
" Engage." Rip said.
Sara yanked her staffs and Leo ripped out his cold gun. Savage turned his head around the room, looking for the source of the noise. He saw Kendra and he got a flash.
" Ahh, yes." Savage whispered.
Savage whipped out a knife and threw it at Kendra. Kendra dogged the shot and engaged as well. Sara kicked Savage in the leg, leaped in the air, and threw her staff into Savage cheek. Savage regained his balance and aimlessly threw a knife. The knife slammed into Leo's chest. Leo staggered backwards and collapsed.
" LEO!" Sara screamed racing to his side.
Blood poured into Sara's fingers and she clasped Leo's chest.
" No..." she wailed.
Kendra threw Savage into a wall. She screamed and punched him.
" HOW COULD YOU?!" Sara screamed at Savage, " I loved him." she then whispered.
With that, Leo feel limp in her arms.
