Chapter 3: I'll Come Back

" No, no, LEO!" Sara screamed while shaking Leo furiously.

Sara looked up with such utter hatred in her eyes.

" YOU BITCH!" Sara screamed at Savage.

Savage merely laughed and punched Kendra in the jaw. Kendra stumbled backwards while Rip, Mick, Firestorm, and Atom entered the room. Atom shrank down and leaped on Savages shoulder while shooting at his neck. Rip started taking open fire on Savage. Mick started burning guards with his flame gun. Mick cackled with burning guards while Firestorm took air and started tossing flames at the guards. Sara didn't move.

" No, no, Leo." she kept whispering over and over again.

Sara then got a glassy faze over her eyes. She stared puzzled at her hand as a glassy, wet droplet appeared on her hand as she wiped her eyes. Tears. She hadn't cried in forever, she then realized Leo was the only thing she had really ever loved. She loved her sister and Ollie, but it wasn't this love. She stood up and stared beating up Savage furiously while tears streamed down her face. Savage had blood pouring down his face. Sara knew he wouldn't die, but it felt like the best thing she could do.

" Sara!" faint voices stared calling to her.

She ignored everything and stared at the pain she knew Savage was feeling. She then threw him into a wall. Savage mad a sickening noise as his body slammed into the wall. Rip winced. Ray and Firestorm both made a small noise of pity. Mick's jaw was dropped. Kendra looked like she had been shot. Sara stormed over while grabbing Leo and tossing him over her shoulder while heading to the Waverider. The rest of the team was motionless. Savage laid limp of the floor. Rip noticed Leo's cold gun on the floor. He dashed over and picked it up.

" Uh, let's see if we can fix Leo?" Rip suggested, breaking the silence.

The team headed back to the ship wearily, forgetting about Savage, they just wanted their team to stop dying. Meanwhile on the ship, Sara feverishly placed Leo on a table and asked Gideon for help.

" GIDEON! HELP LEO!" Sara screamed, feeling choked up.

" Who is Leo?" Gideon asked simply.

" IT'S LEONARD YOU ASS!" Sara screamed at the computer with hatred burning in her eyes.

" Oh, right away." Gideon said.

Leo was on a medical bed in the healing room. Machines kicked to life, as they purred away needled poked Leo's arms and injected liquids. Meanwhile the knife was slowly pulled out, Leo then spluttered and fell unconscious again. Sara waited attentively by Leo's bed. She shuddered as tears slipped through her eyes. The team came on the ship.

" Sara Lance has boarded the ship with Leo Snart." Gideon chatted as Rip walked into the control room.

Rip whipped around.

" Leo? Who on Earth told you he was Leo?" Rip asked with a puzzled tone.

" Sara. She called me an ' ass ' for not knowing so." Gideon said simply.

" Oh lord." Mick muttered while facepalming.

Rip sighed.

" Call him Leonard from now on." Rip said with a wave of his hand.

Kendra walked into the room where Sara was. Kendra did a soft knock on the door and stepped in. She heard Sara whispering to herself, ' It was all my fault.' over and over again.

" Sara." Kendra said softly sitting down next to her.

Kendra was a bit taken aback to see tears streaming down the oh-so-feared assassin's face. She then placed a hand  on Sara's shaking shoulder.

" It's all my fault." Sara whispered staring up at Kendra.

Kendra looked puzzled and then realized Sara was talking about Leo.

" No, but why take it so hard on yourself? You don't even like him like that." Kendra asked slowly.

Sara thought about when Leo looked at her, his eyes had told her, that no one could know. Sara mustered up all the courage she could and she stopped crying.

" Your right." Sara said, standing up.

Kendra stood up to and walked outside the room nudging Sara with her. Sara looked over at the bed and sent a silent signal saying, ' I'll come back."
