Cris open Autumn's room door and popped his head in. "Are you sleep?"

Autumn laughed, "No, this room is way too big. Why must there be queen sized beds in here. How many rooms are there anyway?"

Cris looked at Autumn and open the door wider to walk in. "Dad built this place, mom thought up the plans and stuff for it. Think we have four more rooms and three bathrooms." He answered finally plopping face first on her bed.

"What are you doing?" She whispered. "Do you want to get murdered?"

Cris snorted out a laugh and ruffled her black locks.

"It's fine as long as I don't touch you 'inappropriately' and make it to my own bed before midnight." He explained while turning to lay face down on the bed.

"Okay, so your mom is pretty strict. How on earth do you deal?" Autumn asked as she made herself more comfortable on the bed. She could tell a good story would be coming.

"Well, it happen when I was, like twelve." Cris began. He ran his fingers through his dark brown hair nervously.

He paused for a bit and began his tale.
"I really don't know what actually happen, all I can remember is that mom was driving and not feeling to well. On top of it all, the weather was crap, all that rain." He continued.

"So did something bad happen?" Autumn asked, a little impatiently.

"Hold on I'm getting there." Cris said, thumping her nose for interrupting.

With a giggle she swatted his arm.

"It just happen so fast, one minute everything was fine. The next we aren't on the road anymore. " he said, voice shaking a bit from the memory.

"I thought we got hit and ran off the road, but it was more like we ran someone else off the road.... well more like off the bridge." Cris began to run his hands together, a habit he has when he has to explain bad news.

"Oh God no..." Autumn said shocked from realizing what else he would say.

"Yea... we ran a family of four into the river. It devastated me, because even though we called for help, it was already too late." He sighed a little and sat up.

"I'm going to go to bed... remembering makes my head hurt, plus I need to be ready for next week's race." He successfully changed the subject. "Thinking about doing the 3k run that held at the school yearly."

"Okay, I'll cheer you on no matter what sports you do and try." Autumn said showing her support with a kiss to his cheek.

"Thanks babe, you always know what to say." Cris said, he kissed her forehead before leaving the room.

With nothing else better to do Autumn laid back down to stare at the ceiling again.

"Wish I could feel my legs... maybe than I could go running with him." She said closing her eyes.

That night Autumn dreamed of walking and playing. Jumping in rain water with a young girl about her age, no a bit younger. One of her eyes were red the other was green, her light green hair was in contrast to her soft brown skin. They twirled and danced in the rain. Her skin itched a bit but Autumn didn't care. This girl meant something to her before. In realizing this the little girl soon began to dance farther away. The more Autumn try to place the young girl the further she pulled away.

Soon Autumn was in the rain alone dancing to nothing and noone.

Her dream stayed this way for the remainer of the night. It felt as though she had succumbed to her worst nightmare though she couldn't figure out why this was.

As the time rolled by her legs began to twitch and itch throughout that night.

Little did she know, her words were heard. But by a very sinister trickster. "You're wish is my command." A disembodied voice whispered as laughter filled the silence.

Things will soon become more interesting.
