How will Draco react?

Draco’s POV

“Hey what about us?” Theodore shouted at Holly as the rest of Slytherin started complaining.

“Listen up Slytherin’s. I have 8 keys left for you and I am going to give them to Draco Malfoy and he will give them out to 8 very special people.” Holly shouted. I was shocked as she handed me the keys. “Keep whichever one for yourself. I want a nice get away house since we will be married one day.” Holly said then turned and walked over to Marcus. “Have a lovely time Marcus.” Holly said then kissed his cheek. She linked arms with Weasley and walked back to the castle. I looked down at the keys and choose the one that was in Paris for myself. I then gave one to Pansy, Theodore, Goyle and Krum. I then had 3 left but walked over to Hermione and held them out to her.

“Which one do you want?” I asked.

“Why are you asking me? I’m not a Slytherin.” Hermione said shocked.

“Because Hermione, you are soon to marry my best friend who is a Slytherin. You are also friends with Holly who is Blaise’s cousin. Either way we are going to be family so take it as an early wedding gift.” I said and smiled at her.

“Thanks I guess. I got one already for Rome. Which one do you think Blaise would want?” Hermione said.

“Paris. He loves France. Me and Holly have one in France and by the look of it this one is right across the street from mine and Holly’s.” Hermione snatched it out of my hand as soon as she heard Holly’s name.

“Thank you Draco.” Hermione said then smiled. “A new year, a fresh start. Hi I’m Hermione Granger.” I shook hands with her.

“Draco Malfoy. Nice to meet you. I got to hand these last two out. Bye Hermione.” I said then turned and walked up the steps to Potter and the Weasley girl. “Potter since you are friends with Holly, I want to call a truce.” I said.

“She would love that. Thank you Malfoy.” Potter said then held out his hand. I shook his hand then held out the keys to the Weasley girl.

“Take one and hand the other to Longbottom. I don’t think he got one and neither did the Ravenclaw he is with. Holly would want her friends to have one.” I said.

“Thank you Draco. I heard what you said to Hermione. I believe you have changed.” Ginny said.

“Thanks I guess Ginny.” I said as I looked down.

“You are doing a lot of nice things for Holly. You like her don’t you?” Ginny said.

“How did you know?” I snapped then gulped. “I mean of course I don’t.”

“Don’t make me laugh Malfoy. You so like Holly. How long have you liked my little Holly?” Potter said as he laughed along with Ginny.

“Since 3rd year, when Hermione punched me. Holly stayed and helped me then said that if I told anyone she helped me she would make sure I had more than a broken nose next time.” I said remembering the day I feel in love with my soon to be wife.

“That is so cute.” Ginny said then turned to Harry. “See how he feel in love with her. Why couldn’t you have fallen in love with me like that?” Ginny said as she playfully punched Potter.

“I’ll leave. Sorry for getting you in trouble with your girlfriend Potter.” I said then ran back down the stairs on the stand and made my way back into the castle. I saw Weasley walking towards me so I carried on walking then stopped as he looked up and saw me. “Hey Weasley, where is Holly?” I asked.

“She went to her room. She was crying and I can’t get in because I don’t know the password.” Weasley said as he looked worried. “Make sure she is ok.” I ran as fast as I could to my room and waited for the portrait to appear.
