Chptr 13 : Recording preponed

Next Morning

Everyone in the jam room waiting for Manik.

Cabir - tum humhe toh bata do Nandini..jab vo agega toh usse bhi bata dena..

Nandini - nahi usse aane do..phir batati huin..

Everyone were asking about what she wanted to say..but she wanted to wait for Manik. Not leaving any choice to all of them...they helplessly stared at the door..when will he arrive..when will this madam will open her mouth.

Nandini pov - kahan reh gaya yeh...aaj usse itni derr kyu lag rahi hai

After few minutes..the door opened and here comes our hero totally engrossed in his phone. Nandini became hell angry..as she was waiting for him from so long and now he came and not even looking at anyone.

Nandini (sternly) - Manik kahan the tum?

Finally Manik looked at her.

Manik - kya hua...chilla kyu rahi ho..

Everyone were just staring at their faces..

Nandini - kuch nahi mujhe kuch batana tha

Manik - haan actually mujhe bhi kuch batana hai tum sabko

Nandini - pehle main...

Manik - huh..pehle main

Mukti - arre chup karo tum dono...ek toh pehle ye Nandini ne hum sabko itna wait karwaya..bolke ki Manik aayega tabhi bataungi...aur ab tu...

Manik and Nandini (in unison) - kal holi hai toh aaj hi recording kar lete hain!

Cabir - finally..

Manik and Nandini looked at each other in surprise as they told the same thing...without even discussing...and automatically smile crept on their faces..

Mukti - itna wait karwaya bas ye bolne ke liye...god!

Cabir - waise dono ka dimaag ek hi saath daurta hai..

Manik - chup baithega tu..aur suno guys abhi main vo...recording ke liye sab kuch fix karva ke aaya hun..

Nandini (completing him) - so pehle hum baaki ka bacha hua song practice karlete hain then..we will do recording.

Alya - thik hai...atleast we can enjoy holi tomorrow

Navya - arre toh wait kya kar rahe ho..

Cabir - Navya madam holi kal hai

Navya - Cabir !! humara matlab hai jaldi se practice khatam karte hain

Mukti - hmm...chalo

Everyone took their respective places with their instruments. Manik and Nandini sang and they all perfectly practiced the last para of the song. Then took a short break and sat down on the floor itself.

Manik rested his back on the wall ,Nandini rested her head on Manik's shoulders and he happily wrapped his hand around her shoulder. Dhrulya were in the same position as Manan. and all the other were sitting in a row resting their backs on the wall. everyone closed their eyes with smiling faces. After some time..

Manik - Guys..ek baar pura song practice kartein hai

Everyone agreed and again took their positions and started practicing..they practiced the whole song in a go without any mistake..with perfect coordination.

Alya  - wow...guys this was amazing

Mukti - i second u Alya

Aryamann - hmm perfect

Cabir - maza aa gaya..

Manik and Nandini smiled at each other.

Cabir - ab canteen chale..thora khake phir recording karenge!

Manik - thora aur tu..

Dhruv - vahi naa buddy pura canteen khali karne par tula rehta hai

Cabir - oye chup kar..itna bhi nahi khata main..

Everyone made a face of 'Oh really!' and stared at him.

Cabir - arre kya ho gaya esse kyu aakhein phaad phaad ke dekh raho ho..

Everyone (in unison) - Cabir!

Cabir (scared) - acha baba khaata hun..bohot zyada khaata hun..khush?

Mukti - Chal bhai..chal tu..

Everyone moved to canteen. Chitchatted ,teased ,fight ,ate. And returned to Recording Room..everyone looked nervous..worried..

Manik - take it easy guys..its just a recording.. (Side-hugged Nandini who was busy talking with her fav aaiyapa..)

Nandini pov- aaiyapa...pls sab kuch ache ho jaaye..we all are doing album together for the first time..pls sambhal lena..pls..pls

Manik (whispered in her ear) - Don't worry baby...everything will be ok..

Nandini smiled and took a deep breathe

Nandini - chalo..

(The recording room was same..where Soha did their Photoshoot..yaad hain naa)

Everyone took their places..And Manik turned around to took a glance if everyone was ready..everyone showed their thumbs up..he smiled and held Nandini's hand tightly as he knew it was her first time...and surely she would be hell nervous. He winked at her assuring that everything will be okay. Nandini smiled back. Manik signaled the men to start who were fixing the cameras.
