Time.
An essential part of life.
It dictates when events happen and when life ends.
But what if it ended?Would we just stop existing?
Would we forget our memories, our past, our mistakes?
It matter not now, now I find Ayu.
They will call me a traitor, even if the truth.
For me, I have done a greater better for my myself, though it won't matter if I die or someone else does.
As I marched to Salem I saw where I was attacked and there was no trace of Hansel and Elvar and that was a good thing.
They won't witness my mistake.
I never found myself a drinker but I need some strong fire now. It makes it easier to forget what will come.
When I entered to tavern, the place reminded me when Sekkusu and I fought in a nearby town.
I wonder if I will be a true fight next.
He cares for Ayu and I know it, so how can I take a friends true one and be sane.
The answer is I can't.
"Bartender, get me your strongest liquor"
"Sure but it will cost quite a bit"
"I don't care about price, just get me a drink"
"Sure thing"
The glass was full of a brownish liquid and it smelled of moldy bread.
It was strong and it had a foul after taste, though it removed the pain.
All I could do was fall forever in to darkness before I emerge a villain.
"Hey buddy, there's a group of people waiting for you outside"
I looked and I saw Hansel with a group of hunters.
"I have been looking for you, are you ok?"
"I'm fine but you must go"
"Why?"
"Because I made a deal with that God!"
"I know, the stories on the gods are true, and I know that he has a trump card on you"
"So you know I don't have a choice"
"There's always a choice!"
"I'm sorry"
I drew my weapons because there was only one way out but I won't kill them. A good shot to the legs should take them down.
They ready themselves as well.
"Please don't do this Revan"
"I do"
I dashed passed them and holstered my revolvers and drew my sword and began my attack on two hunters in the back.
Of course I never had my aim on killing them so I disarmed them and knocked them to the ground.
Every slash and movement was to keep them alive but stop them.
Hansel drew her weapons, just a simple short sword.
But she specialized in hand to hand combat.
"Revan, just stand down"
"I can't, just leave me be"
