Kittycat Curtis

Chapter 1

"Pony come on we going to be late!" I said hollering for my twin brother to move it. "it will be fine, Cat Two-Bit driving us anyway." he said grabbing a pieces of toast off the table. "well you two better get going because he's waiting in the drive way." Darry said picking up his tool belt. "DARRY?" Sodapop said running down the hall. "can you give me a drive?" Sodapop said buttoning up his DX shirt. "sure but I'm leaving now." Darry said walking out the door. "Bye Pone, Bye Kitty." Sodapop said giving me and Pony a kiss on the forehead. "Bye." we said at the same time.  "COME ON!" Two-Bit said honking the horn of his beat up car. "Bye kids , OH Pony don't let Kittycat walk home alone please." Darry said pulling out of the drive way. "Pony?" I said as we got into Two-Bits car . "No Cat you can't walk home alone." he said before i could finish. "fine." I said huffing. 

When we arrived at school we walked in as people directed us to get into lines to get a schedule. "whats your schedule like?" Pony asked looking at his. " Math , English , Gym , Art , Science and French what do you have?" I asked looking at his. "Well we have Art , Gym and Math together." he said. " ill be fine Pony I probably have a class or two with Johnny anyways. See you in Gym." I said walking to my first class. " Be safe." he said before getting swolled by a group of kids.  When I got to my first class the teacher said to sit anywhere , so I sat in the back next to Johnny. "You know Kittycat she going to make us say our names." he said laughing a little knowing teacher don't believe my name. "Oh shit." i said quietly. "OKAY class." she said shutting the door. " we are going to start off with saying our real names then one fact about us. You in the back with the jean jacket you start." she said pointing to Johnny. " Johnny Cade and I'm a greaser." he said proudly. " I'm Kittycat Curtis and I like chocolate cake for every meal." I said looking down after i said my name. " I said real name!" the teacher said slamming her hand down. " it is mrs , my brothers names are Ponyboy , Sodapop and Darry." i said sticking my head up proudly. " your parents were very original." she said mumbling. After everyone said their name we moved on  to what we'd be learning this year. 

After school was i went to go meet Ponyboy outside. Today was a good day only 3 soc called me littler box. As i was walking to the door i saw a soc was holding it open , but i didn't see his friend sticking his foot out so i would trip. As I fell over his foot my face hit the floor causing my nose to bleed. "Watch out greaser!" the one that triped me said walking over me. "sorry." i said to that had to walk around me as i got off the floor and started to pitnched my nose. "what happened ?!" Pony said racing to meet me. " I was tripped by a soc , can we just go home and fix this before someone sees and tells Darry?" I said starting to walk home. "okay." he said racing after me. When we arrived home I cleaned up the blood on my face and changed my shirt and put the other one in the garbage. "here put this bandaid on your nose." Pony said handing it to me. Just as i stood up to put the tissue in the garbage Dallas walked in.

"Why do you got a bunch of blood tissues Kitten?" Dally said pointing to them. "please don't tell Darry!" I said pleading with him. "shit Kitten i have too. He'd kill me if i didn't." Dally said giving me soft look. "fine." I said sitting down at the table to start my homework when Darry and Sodapop walked in. "how was everyones day?" Sodapop said sitting next to me as he messed up my hair. "good me and Cat have Art , Gym and Math together." Pony said sliding his books back in his bag. "what about you Kittycat how was your day?" Darry said turning on the oven. "okay I guess no one believed my name thought and I was tripped leaving school today causing me to get a bloody nose." i said quickly at the last part. "what was that last part?" Sodapop said looking at me funny. "She was tripped leaving school today by a soc." Dally said answering for me. "Are you kidding me!" Darry said with a lot of anger in his voice. "are you okay now Kitty?" Sodapop said gently. "yeah, it okay Darry don't lose your cool." I said jumping up to give Darry a hug. "if you say so Kittycat." he said as he accepted your hug.

"What are you going to make for supper Darry?" Ponyboy said setting the table. "well are you staying Dallas?" Darry said looking for a answer from him. "I don't think I mean I'll probably just go with Tim to pick up some girls." he said back to Darry. " then it looks like we haven chicken for 4." Darry answering  Pony's question. For some reason you cringed at Dally saying he was going to be picking up some girls , did I have a crush on Dally ? I couldn't could I ? no he wouldn't love me.  " I'll see you guys later." Dally said shutting the front door as he left. "well chicken is ready!" Darry said pulling it out of the oven. " good I'm starving." Pony said as he sat across from you.  Later that night as i was getting into bed Sodapop came in and sat on my bed. " I saw that Kitty." he said looking at me with a straight face. " saw what." I asked not knowing what he was talking about  " the way you cringed when Dally was talking about picking up some girls." Sodapop grabbing my hand. "i think I'm in love with him Sodapop." I said hugging Sodapop tightly.
