Chapter 6

"Its been over a 2 hour!" Pony said looking up at the clock again. "Thats it I'm calling his boss."Sodapop said standing up to go to the phone. "Okay." I said as Dally rubbed my back. "Hi Mr.Alvin I was wondering if Darry left work yes?" Sodapop said talking to Darrys boss. "Hi everyone sorry I'm late i went to get us some ice cream then I saw this poor old lady with a flat tire so I stopped to help her but she didn't have a spare so I had to go get one." Darry said as he walked in the front door. "DARRY!" I said running over to him. "Thank you Mr.Alvin but he's back now."Sodapop said pulling the phone down to go hug Darry. "Don't do that again." Pony said joining the hug. "Sorry I guess?" Darry said hugging all of us. "Sorry guys but I'm going to Tim's party." Two-Bit said patting Darry on the back as he left. "Bye!" We all called as he left. 

"I guess I'll just take Two-Bits place in monolpoy." Darry said sitting on the floor. "My turn then."Sodapop said rolling the dice. After we fished that game of monolpoy we put it back in the closet and just turned on the tv to catch Friday nights horror movie. "Look its Eyes Without A Face." Ponyboy said turning up the volume. "Cool I've always wanted to see this one." Steve said pulling his chair over so he could see the tv. "Are you cool to watch this?" Darry said looking at me concern in his eyes. "Yes , Darry I'll be fine." I said acting tuff. "Are you sure." Dally said wrapping his hands around my waist. "Yes, Why does one belevie I can watch a stupid horror movie." I said getting in the huff.  "Come down Kitten." Sodapop said putting his hands up to sirerned. "Shh its coming back from commercials." Ponyboy said throwing his arms over everyone to keep quite. About half way threw the movie I got really scared but I didn't let the guys know because then. they would have ended it and Steve and Pony would have been mad. So I went through the whole movie hiding in Dally's chest and closing my eyes. "Mmm ,  Kitty the movies over." Dally said tapping my shoulder.  "I know , I'm just rubbing my eyes." I said playing it off cool. "Sure." Sodapop said getting up to take his dish to the sink. "Shut up." I said throwing a pillow at him. "I'm going home ,  I'll come and get you tomorrow morning." Steve said stretching.

"Ok be safe!" Sodapop called as Steve left the house. "Well lets all turn in for the night." Darry said getting out of the his chair to turn off the tv. "You staying the night Dal?" Sodapop said opening the closet to get more blankets and pillows. "Yeah sure." Dally said calmly. "Night then." I said giving Dally a quick kiss and waving night to rest of my family as I walked to my room. As the last light in my house went out I knew Dally had gone to bed now so I thought I should too. The first bit of my sleep went okay till my sweet dream of "lollypops and rainbows" turned to my life as the girl from Eyes Without A Face. As soon as I crashed my car in my dream I woke up in real life gasping for air. "Dally?" I said quietly walking into the living room. "Dally?" I said shaking his arm when I got over to him. "Kitty?" He said turning to figure out why I'm here. "Come I sleep with you for the rest of the night." I said with trees falling down my face now. "Sure baby." He said pulling me into the couch to lay with him. "Thank you." I said cuddling into his arms. Within seconds I was fast asleep.

"MMMUH!" Someone said clearing their throat loudly. "Go sit somewhere else." Dally said shooing the person away. "Kitten." The voice said shaking me. "Go away." I said doing the same moiton as Dally did. "DALLAS TUCKER WINSTON AND KITTYCAT MARIE CURTIS WAKE UP RIGHT NOW." The voice said booming. "What?" I said lifting my head off Dally's chest. "What do you want it must be like 7 clock in the morning." Dally said rubbing his eyes. "Would you care to tell me why you are sleeping on top of Dallas , Kittycat?" Darry said folding his arms over. "Its not what you think Darry." Dallas said trying to get up. "Are you sure about that." Darry said ready to kill us. "Darry I won't do anything like that I'm only 15." I said trying to stick up for myself. "Darry I didn't fuck you sister. Look." Dally said pushing me up so he could get out of the blankets to saw off this full clothed body. "Oh." Darry said looking surprised. 

"Whats going on in here?" Sodapop said with Ponyboy trailing behind him. "Darry was accusing me of messing around with Dally." I said putting Dally's woole jacket on. (the one that saves pony from the fire in the book.) "Are you kidding me Darry?" Sodapop said walking to the ice box. "I just thought." Darry said walking into the kitchen. "Well stop think so much." Dally said under his breath. "Watch it Tucker!" Darry said pointing a spatula at him. "You guys are crazy." Pony said placing the plates on the table as I places the forks down. "Its so nice to have a family breakfast." Sodapop said as Darry placed eggs down. "But I anit family." Dally said as he looked around. "Dally you've been our friend for years , your dating our little sister and you sleep on our couch every night. I'm pretty sure that makes you family." Sodapop said giving him a warming smile. "Thanks I guess." Dally said holding my hand under the table but keeping a tuff look on his face.
